"Harry, nobody wants to watch this cooking show!"Louis swiped the remote from Harry's grasp, accidentally hitting my arm. Harry's arm was draped over my shoulders, my head on his chest, and my left leg across his lap.
We'd be mistaken for a couple to strangers.
"I wanna watch it!" Niall yelled in frustration, with a mouth full of whatever he was munching on.
Louis changed it to cartoons anyway, but Harry didn't protest.
I sat there giggling, and ignoring my stomach.
Niall and Louis bickered back and forth until Liam walked it, taking the remote, and changing it to the local news.
He left the room taking the remote with him.
The two whined and pouted that they were stuck watching wildfires be put out by firefighters on the mountains, then eventually it started talking about a local death of a teenage girl.
Harry breathily laughed in my ear, this cute laugh, making me look up to smile at him.
When I laugh, my mouth is open, flashing my teeth, with an unclenched jaw.
But when I giggle, my mouth is sometimes open, and teeth are usually clamped down on my tongue holding it down. I wouldn't be surprised if I looked like a whale.
I looked back at the boys who were upset, and said to them: "Have you heard of a thing called the cable box?"
Harry and I laughed in unison, and Zayn chuckled walking back into the room after disappearing an hour ago.
Niall and Louis were the biggest Nimrods, followed by Zayn, and sometimes Harry... Never Liam.
Zayn demonstrated how to use it the cable box in sarcasm, flipping the channel, clicking the button with emphasis.
"See?" He clicked it again.
Louis rolled his eyes, and Niall looked mesmerized. I'm not sure if he was kidding or if he honestly was seeing this for the first time.
"Do it again." Niall said, his mouth agape.
Zayn changed the channel to a celebrity gossip show, sitting down on the other couch next to Niall.
Harry, Zayn, and I laughed one last time.
Everyone then seemed okay with what we were watching, all but me. They were probably waiting to hear their names. But I knew if they said Harry's name, no doubt mines wouldn't be included.
A knock came to the door, almost in a rush.
Everyone was so comfortable and didn't move an inch, so I figured I better go open it then. Lazy...
"Don't. Liam has it." Harry said, holding my leg so I wouldn't get up.
Just then, Liam appeared again, going to open the door. I could see the remote hanging out his butt pocket.
Everyone, just like me expected to see room service or something, but instead it was a red head. Her eyes glued on her feet, then she looked up when the door opened.
"Hey, Kermit." She said, not taking notice of the rest of us, right past Liam.
"Scarf Giiiirl." Liam said, running his hand over his growing hair.
Everyone's eyes were glued on the door. It only appeared to me who she was when Harry sort of shifted. And Louis whispered, "Who's she? Liam's girlfriend?"
"No, she's got a boyfriend." I said low, not looking at him.
Apparently It wasn't low enough because she looked over Liam's shoulder, to all of us.
