Harry's POV:
Just as promised, the doctors approved and said it was fine for Stella to leave the country. At first they were a little shaky, until I weighed the endless amount of reasons why. They don't call me The Charmer for nothing.
The only thing left to do now was to persuade Stella to come, but not really persuade, just ask. But if no, I had a back up plan.
At least I hoped so.
It's November 17th, and I'm pretty sure time was ticking.
We ended up going back to Aunt Lucy's again, the following day, because I couldn't stay away from Stella too long.
When I say we, I meant Zayn, Louis, and I.
Supposedly, Niall went to catch up with some "friends" before leaving LA.
But let's just be real... How many American friends could Niall possibly have besides fans, if we only come to LA about twice a year, for a couple of days, and if majority of the time, we're on lock down...? Exactly. None.
And Liam was with Samantha who knew nothing whatsoever about Stella since she walked out the door about 2weeks ago. And when I say 'nothing about Stella,' I'm referring to her condition. Nobody bothered informing the poor lass anyways. She was already suffering from her ex boyfriend's death. She, of course, knew Stella had cancer, but little did she know that the cancer was finally kicking in.
I didn't cry, but last night I will admit that I had a tear or two fall down my face before I went to sleep. But that certainly was not crying.
"Stella? Stella. Stella!" Louis chimed ahead of me.
"Shhh..." Zayn smacked Louis' arm.
When we got to the living room, Stella looked up smiling still wearing my beanie from yesterday, but different pajamas.
"It's okay, I'm up," she sifted in her seat, putting down her book. Who let you guys in?"
"I'm family. I can just walk in." Zayn smiles sitting on the couch next to hers.
I shrugged. "And I'm with him." Then sat on the floor.
Louis didn't say anything further as he went venturing off in the house. No one stopped him.
"What have you been up to?" Zayn asked.
She looked around, then settled her eyes on Zayn when she said the final word. "Oh, you know... dying."
I winced, pushing my long sleeves up my forearms as if engrossed by the fabric.
"That isn't funny, Stella." Zayn said.
"I'm kidding. But it's true." She said serious.
So then we got quiet until Aunt Lucy came in with groceries, announcing that she was home. And that was about a good 15minutes after.
"Oh, hey." She said smiling when she noticed us two, then to Stella. "I hope you've finished that soup."
Yet the full bowl of soup was lounged between her knees, the steam slowly disappearing.
"I ate alot of it," she fibbed right through her teeth, and I could tell.
"You better not be lying to me."
"I'm not." She reached over, placing it onto the coffee table.
Louis jogged into the room, then helped Aunt Lucy with the groceries.
"Thank you, Dear."
And when it was just Zayn, Stella, and I again; Stella stuck her tongue out at the entrance of the kitchen indicating that it was for her Aunt about the non-eating lecture.
