Almost as promised, I was gonna leave 4 days later, but with technical difficulties, I was forced to stay another night.

Yesterday I came back home from the hospital, and if my calculations were correct, today was November 16th.

"Elizabeth, Remember your cousin I was talking about? He'll be here any minute. But he'll stay the afternoon only."

"Kay."

"Only if you're comfortable."

"Sure." I nodded weakly, through pillows that covered my face.

I had this oxygen tank that was portably on wheels. It wasn't heavy at all. Anywho, it's temporary. I don't know why my lungs are acting so ragged and crude. The tube things travel from the tank thingy, long enough until it stopped right under my chin where it then was separated into two tubes the crept behind my ear, reconnecting back up at my nostrils.

The air tickled. You couldn't smell properly, nor get use to it quick enough. Very annoying it was.

I went a whole afternoon laying on the couch, sleeping, or searching for strength.

If you'd like to know, I'll tell you...

Now, I have not a single strand of hair on my head. Infact, there's not a single strand on my body.

And I'm not mad about it. Not anymore atleast.

It's easier to scratch your head, and there's no knotted hair to comb out, or anything to stick to your face when waking up from a nightmare in sweat, which I had been doing lately.

I was living the bald life. And it was great. Except the fact that I was almost handicap, and the fact that my head was freezing. That's why I had pillows over my face.

I wonder what it'll be like in public.

People would think I shaved my head, and wouldn't mind majority of the time, but to have no eye brows on top of that was just calling for attention... Aswell as my cannula that sometime had to be worn, and or my oxygen tank.

Never had I noticed my head was covered in freckles until now. Cray cray.

"Do you want anything to eat?"

"No." I croaked.

"Actually, I'm not asking you. It's lunch time, you have to eat."

"Just give me a water, and crackers. Thank you, love you."

My stomach hurt like hell, but that was the beauty of ovarian.

I was beginning to think that lung cancer was possibly what I had aswell.

18 and my life was already ending. Sad for me. But atleast I got to enjoy the beginning my life, unlike kid's whom lives are ending before they've even begun.

Saltine crackers, and a room temperatured bottle was shoved under the covers with me since my whole body was covered.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome, Lo-" the door bell rang, "Oh! That must be them!"

"Them?"

"He has a friend that he wants me to meet." The smile blatant in her voice.

I was gonna hope that his friend was cute, but then I dropped it when I remembered how I wasn't even cute myself...

"Don't bring them in here."

She was already walking towards the door which was in another room.

Her house wasn't like where you just walked in, and there was a living room. When you first walk in, there's a staircase, and a corridor.
