The next day came and as Jiyong woke up, the first thing he did was text Seunghyun. "How was work yesterday?"
Seunghyun didn't reply which left Jiyong a little confused. "Maybe he's not up yet" Jiyong thought to himself in a sigh as he started getting ready for school.
Once Jiyong was done and ready for school, he got to the table where his mother had prepared breakfast for him.
As Jiyong was eating his breakfast, he kept glancing down at his phone to check if Seunghyun responded to him, but he didn't.
"He shouldn't be sleeping in this late." Jiyong thought to himself in a sigh as he called Seunghyun's phone.
After a couple of rings and no one picking up, Jiyong sighed saying "damn it" afterword.
"Whats wrong Jiyong?" Jiyong's mother asks from the kitchen where she was packing his lunch.
"Oh nothing, its just that I'm worried about Seunghyun." Jiyong explains.
His mother tensed up a bit after hearing that and cleared her throat as she says "well Jiyong, Seunghyun doesn't seem like the type of person you should hang around, let alone worry about."
"What're you talking about...don't tell me you think I shouldn't be Seunghyun's friend as well?!" Jiyong asks in an annoyed tone.
"Jiyong, you know the rumours going on about him! I know you've been friends with him for a long time, but you have to think of your future. Seunghyun's going to bring you down if you continue to be friends with him."
"What, did dad tell you that?!" Jiyong asks, standing up in anger and looking at his mother seriously.
His mother sighed as she continues to say "Jiyong, don't get me wrong. I like Seunghyun but if he's going to interfere with your future I want nothing to do with him."
Jiyong got up in anger as he sighed and says "you're just like everyone else, why does everyone think he's so bad?!" Jiyong asks in anger as he turns around and leaves the room, grabbing his backpack and heading to school.
Once Jiyong was walking to school, he felt lonely since he didn't have Seunghyun to walk with him.
"Jiyong" a voice called out from behind and Jiyong quickly turned around.
As Jiyong turned around he was shocked. "Seunghyun, what happened to you?!"
Seunghyun walked up to Jiyong on a limp and he had bandages on himself everywhere. He had a split lip and his right eye was now turning a darkish purple.
"Seunghyun you look horrible, what happened to you?!" Jiyong asks once again, even more concerned.
"Nothing" Seunghyun says as he tried walking past Jiyong so they could walk to school.
Jiyong stopped Seunghyun by holding wrist as he asks "you're planning to go to school looking like this?! Aren't you suspended?"
"Well yeah, I have my uniform on and I don't care if I'm suspended." Seunghyun says wiggling his wrist out of Jiyong's grip since he was stronger than him but Jiyong was able to grab a hold of it once again.
"You know how many rumours will spread if you go to school looking like this, you're making your situation worse!" Jiyong exclaims in a serious tone.
"Jiyong, I wasn't here yesterday for school remember, don't you think I should catch up on everything I missed?" Seunghyun sarcastically says Jiyong pouted.
"Like you'd care if you missed anything anyway." Jiyong says in a little mumble under his breath.
"Huh?" Seunghyun faintly says, looking down at Jiyong confused. Not hearing what he had said properly.
