Fixing the broken (GTOP fan fiction)

Dinner

Just like Seunghyun promised, after he brought Jiyong home, he went to Minhyuk's house and knocked on the door a couple of times.

Minhyuk opened the door, still in his school uniform and a smile appeared onto his face once he saw Seunghyun. "You came, come in!" Minhyuk says in a smile, moving to a side, to let Seunghyun inside.

As Seunghyun got inside the house, he took off his shoes and changed into slippers when he hears someone coming from the side.

"Oh, you came?!" Minhyuk's mother asks in a smile and Seunghyun nodded meaning yes.

"Dinner will be ready soon, both of you can wait in Minhyuk's room while it's still getting ready." Minhyuk's mother says and Seunghyun nodded.

Once the two boys got into Minhyuk's room, Minhyuk then says "my rooms pretty boring, the most we can do is talk."

"It's fine" Seunghyun says in a deep tone, sitting down on the edge of Minhyuk's bed.

"So how're things between you and Jiyong, has anything changed...since you switched schools?" Minhyuk asks.

"Nah, I can tell he still loves me just as much. I just want to do something for him so that he knows how much I really love him." Seunghyun says in a sigh while looking down.

"I think he already knows you love him a lot, I don't think you need to get him anything."

"Yeah but I want to show him my love for him. I love him a lot, we've been friends for years and the love I have for him isn't just because we're going out, but because he's been with me through everything." Seyunghyun explains.

Minhyuk understood and nodded, biting his bottom lip as he says "here" turning around and pulling something out from his drawer.

Seunghyun raised one eyebrow, waiting for was Minhyuk was going to give him.

As Minhyuk closed the drawer, he turned around and held his hand closed tightly. "Put out your hand" Minhyuk demands and Seunghyun was a bit confused but did it anyway.

Minhyuk then put money into Seunghyun's hand as he says "you need it more then I do."

"Minhyuk...you can't be serious, I can't take this much money" Seunghyun says in a serious tone. Just by looking at it, Seunghyun could tell it was more then one hundred dollars.

"I know how hard it is for you to get a job right now with all the rumours going around about you. I see you're struggling as well. Just take it, buy something for Jiyong and tell him that I'm sorry for separating you two." Minhyuk says in a serious tone.

Seunghyun looked down at the money and bit his lip as he says a faint "thank you...Minhyuk" then standing up and hugging Minhyuk tightly.

Minhyuk's mother then called from downstairs saying dinner was ready and the two boys went downstairs and sat at the table, seeing the food already placed.

"Thank you for the meal" Seunghyun says before digging into the food.

"I hope everything is alright" Minhyuk's mother says.

Seunghyun was amazed with how good it tasted. "It's really good, thank you so much" Seunghyun says, starting to eat faster now.

It's been a while since Seunghyun ate at Jiyong's house, so he hadn't ate a proper meal in ages. Only processed foods or anything he could grab from his fridge that was obviously not made by his parents like an apple or a banana.

"You should slow down a bit, you're going to get a stomach ache if you keep eating that fast" Minhyuk's mother says in a chuckle, rubbing Seunghyun's back and then sitting down herself.

"So how have you been Seunghyun?" Minhyuk's mother asks in a smile, looking at him.

"I'm fine, thank you for asking" Seunghyun says, continuing to eat.

"Has anyone been bothering Minhyuk lately?"

"Not that I've seen" Seunghyun answers.

"What about you, after you defended him did they start picking on you?" Minhyuk's mother asks, getting a little worried.

Seunghyun stopped eating and looked down at his plate. He didn't want to tell Minhyuk's mother that the bullies were now starting fights with him. He didn't want to worry her so he cleared his throat and says "nope."

Minhyuk then looked up at Seunghyun, knowing he was lying but decided to keep quiet as well.

"Well that's good, at least they're not bothering both of you. Thank you again for defending him Seunghyun, it means a lot." Minhyuk's mother says.

"It was no problem, you don't have to keep thanking me" Seunghyun says in an awkward chuckle.

"No but I do..." Minhyuk's mother quietly says with a frown on her face.

Seunghyun then looked up at Minhyuk's mother confused, along with Minhyuk looking at her as well.

"It pained me so much to see my son coming home hurt every day...you lessened my burden on him. Now that I know you're there to protect him, it makes me happy that I don't have to worry as much. Thank you so much Seunghyun...thank you." Minhyuk's mother says, a tear rushing down her cheek.

Seunghyun was surprised by Minhyuk's mothers sudden tears but then smiled lightly, looking back down at his plate.

"Why're you smiling?" Minhyuk asks, looking at Seunghyun a little confused.

"Because I realised this must be how mothers feel when they truly love their children. They don't want to see their children hurt...they don't want pain being inflicted onto their kids. A mothers love is strong like this...I just realized a mothers love was something I've never had." Seunghyun says in an awkward chuckle, hiding his sadness with a broken smile.

Minhyuk and his mother both looked up at him a bit concerned and Seunghyun was still smiling, trying to make it look like everything was okay.

"Well I guess I should start heading out now, I'll see you tomorrow, alright?" Seunghyun asks, now getting up.

"Yeah, have a safe trip home" Minhyuk says, now getting up as well and following Seunghyun to the door.

Minhyuk's mother then came to the door as well and had a smile on her face as she asks "you're going to come back and eat dinner with us again, right?"

Seunghyun was a bit surprised Minhyuk's mother asked him to eat with them again and a smile appeared on his face as he says "sure, I'd love too."

With that, Seunghyun was done putting on his shoes and left Minhyuks house, starting to walk to his own house.

As Seunghyun was halfway home, he then broke down, a tear fell down his cheek. As he wiped it away, he was confused on why he was suddenly crying and then remembered to how much Minhyuk's mother loved him.

"A-Am I jealous of something as stupid as mothers love?!" Seunghyun asks himself, wiping more tears away from his face.

As Seunghyun got home, he was greeted by his parents who didn't say they missed him, didn't say they loved him, didn't even give him a hug. They greeted him with a beating, saying he shouldn't have staid out so late.

Okay I think in the next two chapters this fan fiction will be done. I know Seunghyun's life is depressing and I'm sorry for making his life depressing. I hope you guys are enjoying the fan fiction and thank you for reading~
