When the next day came, Jiyong got to school and was greeted by many people.
Ever since Seunghyun got suspended, Jiyong could tell the immediate difference with how everyone were acting around him.
When Seunghyun was in school, everyone would be very distant and cold to Jiyong. Now that Seunghyun wasn't there, everyone was approaching him and saying hello.
Jiyong went to the student council room before class started to organise some papers that he didn't get to do the other day.
"You're here early" Yongbae says in a smile, entering the room himself.
"Yeah, I just decided to organise some papers. What about you, why're you here so early?" Jiyong asks.
"No reason, I just thought I left something in here after yesterday's meeting but I guess I didn't." Yongbae answers.
As Jiyong was looking through the papers he had to deal with, he then looked up at Yongbae staring at him and says a little "yes?"
"Nothing its just that, now that I realize Seunghyun's not here with you, you seem a little more free."
Jiyong gave Yongbae a confused expression and asks "what do you mean?"
Yongbae then explains "whenever Seunghyun was around, you'd always be stuck beside him and since he didn't really let you talk to anyone else, you were restricted from making new friends. On top of that people who wanted to be your friend were scared of getting close to you. I even heard the teachers saying that sometimes they needed to speak to you after school but they were intimidated to ask you because you were with Seunghyun."
Yongbae then continues to say "In my opinion I think its a little better that he's not here holding you back...but that's in my opinion." Yongbae says before turning around and leaving the student council room.
Once Yongbae left, Jiyong looked down at the table in front of him and sighed. He knew he hated it that Seunghyun wasn't with him, but what Yongbae said wasn't like he was telling lies.
Yongbae was right with everything he said...but the thing that bugged Jiyong the most, is that what would happen when Seunghyun came back to school after the two months were up.
Everyone who he would have become so close too in the period of two months would act distant and not want to talk to him anymore once Seunghyun came back.
Jiyong looked down, ruffling his hair a bit in frustration not knowing what to do.
Meanwhile with Seunghyun, he was walking around where he was yesterday and was kicking the rocks underneath his feet.
"Hyung, hyung!" Minhyuk yells in a smile, waving his hand in the air to catch Seunghyung's attention.
Seunghyun looked up at Minhyuk with a dull expression as he says "oh, it's you."
"Yeah, it's me I saw you and decided to skip school today!" Minhyuk says in a smile.
Seunghyun then looked at Minhyuk and saw him wearing his school uniform. "You go to that school not too far from here." Seunghyun says.
"You've heard of my school?!" Minhyuk asks, a little surprised.
"Yeah...well just rumours. I just hear that, that school isn't one of the best because none of the students listen." Seunghyun says.
"Yeah that's true, we're known for that." Minhyuk says, looking down a little embarrassed.
"It alright, there's no need to be embarrassed. I was suppose to go to that school in the first place." Seunghyun explains.
