We all had recovered from our physical injuries over four months ago. But, the recovery from our mental or emotional problems is nowhere in our near future.

Ever night since then, we have woke up screaming, from the terrifying nightmares, which haunt us continuously. Our sheets and blankets are soaked with our sweat. Fearful sweat. We have nothing to hold to. Nothing but each other.

~Four months later~

"Do we have all our bags?" Jenn asks.

She planned this trip. Again. Maggie and I are still upset with her. Well, mostly Maggie, I just can't hold a grudge against anyone. I tried once or twice and now it just seems stupid and petty. People have held grudges against me before and it hurt me: I don't want to hurt anyone else.

We had both refused to come. But, clearly, that didn't work out. After the horrible nightmarish five days we spent in Washington, Maggie and I decided that vacations were just not for us. But, somehow, Jennifer convinced us to come. Plus, I was sort of persuaded by the thought of leaving the country for the first time. I've always wanted to vacation outside of the states, especially in Canada, so I thought that I shouldn't give up this chance. Most likely this will be my only chance.

"Yeah, I think so." Ann answers while fixing her baseball cap. As far as I know, she is the only one who is not totally aggravated with Jenn.

I jump up and say, in an usually over-enthusiastic tone to my voice, "I have mine!" As I sling my pink duffle over my shoulder and wheel my chevron suitcase behind me while I go stand next Maggie.

Once I get next to her, she just nods and says, "Are we ready?"

"Yeah..." Jennifer trails off.

I look up at the big digital board that shows all of the flights and their departure times. It reads, "Ontario, Canada. Departing at 3:30pm. Gate six B."

"Okay. Let's do this." Jenn says, heaving a deep sigh.

Ann takes the lead, Maggie and I follow her. I suppose that Jennifer follows us. I'm walking next to Maggie and we are chattering about the flight. We make plans to rewatch season four of Once Upon A Time. Our favorite pastime.

Ann's suitcase, which she is rolling behind her, clicks across the tiled floor. Suddenly, the sound stops. She turns back to see that Jenn is way behind us. Maggie and I just keep walking, but we do agree to stop at the security checkpoint and wait for the other two to catch up.

Once we pass through the metal detector, we continue down a passage way to the plane. I jump into the first row and snag the window seat. Maggie also grabs the window seat behind me. Jennifer sits next to me and Ann sits next to Maggie, which is probably for the better, because, with the the way their have been treating each other. Maggie would more than likely ignore Jennifer to death, that is, if she had sat with her.

I reach into my carry on. Before we left for the airport, I stuffed my bag with candy and magazines. I pull out some candy. Sour Patch Kids, more specifically. I pass some over to Jenn.

"Uh.... Thanks." She says, somewhat cautiously.

Then, smiling, I say, "Look what I brought." Then, I keep rummaging through my carry on.

"What?" Jenn questions.

I pull out four magazines. The Hunger Games. My favorite.

She give me a look like I'm crazy before saying, "You still have all of those?"

"Uh...Yeah! Why would I get rid of them?! They could cost a fortune in the future." I laugh back, with a wink.

Then, Jennifer let's out a knowing smile, "Yeah, maybe."

Just then, a flight attendant comes up to us and asks, "Would any of you girls care for some samples of our peanuts?"

I hold my hands out to her and say, "Yes. Please."

She pulls out a little packet and places it in my open palm.

"Thank you!" I say politely.

The flight attendant continues, "Anyone else?"

Before she leaves, Maggie asks for some peanuts too. The flight attendant places the samples in Maggie's hand as well. Ann and Jennifer politely decline. The attendant moves on and clips herself into her seat before the plane taxied to the runway.

We are instructed to ready for take off. Jennifer grips the arm rests. Eventually though, she relaxes and slides a book out of her bag. Pulling the bookmark out, she places it into the cup holder.

Jenn gives me an annoyed look as I'm licking the salt off my fingers. "Sorry!" I apologize.

I begin looking around. First, I turn around and look at the back of the plane. I slowly turn in 360 degrees. I end up looking out the window. Not finding who I'm looking for, I just look at Jennifer, let out a sigh and slump back in my seat.

"What are you doing?" She asks.

I reply, "I want more peanuts."

Maggie, who is behind me, leans forward and says right next to my ear, "Me too. Do you think we could get some more? I mean, they were samples, right?"

Giggling, I continue, "Yeah. Come on, I have an idea." I stand up, grab Maggie's hand, and we walk towards the first class area.

A whisper comes from Jennifer's lips, "What are you guys doing?!?" I turn, face Jenn, and put my finger up to my mouth. Then, we disappear through the door and enter into first class; giggling the whole time.

It is amazing in here. The chairs are lined with leather. And, it looks as if all the seats are in their own separate room. They sort of look like little cubicles. But, as we walk towards the flight attendant station, I notice that each pair of seats has a TV and a table, which is laid out with dishes such as crab, shrimp, and cocktails.

Maggie walks right up to the flight attendants. She asks, "Excuse me. Could we please have some more of those peanuts?"

"Why, sure. Since you came all the way in here to find me and you asked so nicely. Here you go." She says to Maggie, handing some baggies to Maggie and myself.

We turn around and head back to the others when Maggie suggests, "Hey, look. There's two empty chairs over there. Let's just go sit in them for like two minutes." I follow her to the nearest set of seats and we sit down. After all Maggie is four months and two days older than me so, I guess, that means she is responsible if we do get in trouble. We sit in the white leather seats: relaxing and eat our peanuts. Five minutes later, a young man, dressed neatly in a fancy crisp suit and a dark colored bow tie, walks up to us, "Excuse me, ladies. May I please see your boarding passes?"

I stay silent and pretend to search for my ticket, while Maggie is stuttering for an explanation. Eventually, the man escorts us to the door that leads to our seats. He gives disapproving look and shake of his head as he watches us walk though the door that leads to the coach area. We hurry back to Ann and Jennifer, both of us suppressing smiles and giggles the whole time.

Ann, who is the most motherly of all of us, asks in a harsh tone with a look as disapproving as the young attended, "And, exactly where were you two! ?"

"Oh, no where." Maggie replies, not so stealthily.

Then, Jenn sniffs the air, "You guys smell like peanuts, did you--"

But, I immediately cut her off because I know exactly what she's thinking, "No--"

"Please tell me you didn't steal." Jenn cuts me off now.

"No, of course not! Never! Come on, Jennifer? Why would we do that?! Seriously?!" Maggie say, somewhat defensively.

Then, I decide it's time to clear the air, "We asked, okay?" Getting slightly annoyed.

Finally, Jennifer gives in, "Ok, fine, whatever. You just had me a little worried."

Maggie and I settle down in our seats, which are now next to each other because Jennifer moved back next to Ann.

Me and Maggie decide not to tell Jenn about our little mishap in the first class lounge. It's our little secret. But, it's not my first. I have many secrets from the going ons of our vacation four months ago.
