Cody felt the blood in her body turn cold, a sharp pain in her heart, blood flowing up her throat. Her eyes looked down at her chest. Blade of a sword was covered with her blood was pierced through her heart. Her eyes then turn to her frightened friend, tears falling down her face.

"I told you I will kill you first."

The sword slide out of her bodyb Cody landed beside her best friend. Blood pour out of her mouth. Princess Emma was on the verge of breaking down.

"CODY!" Raizin turn to see a angry Nathan ready to jump down and open a can. But a bog clocked in the head, knocking him down the hole. He landed face first but was already unconscious from the hit.

The bog looked at the assassin, speaking in another language. Raizin respond to the soldier. His feet blast off, making him hover in the air.

"He's next. After that, there will only be little lonely you left to kill" he said, laughing hysterically, flying out of hole. The bogs follow as well, running away from the elite knights.

Frac and Drageon jump down with a couple of knights. They checked on their fellow knights and Princess.

"Princess, we need to get her to the hospital" said Frac.

Emma couldn't hear her friend. She was in shock from what she witness. The death of her best friend.

Dr. Narrack was the best doctor in Felixus. He create any vaccine for a deadly disease, help cure animals, and have time to sip on some fine wine. He was the good doctor.

But today he had to do something out of his league. Save an specie he is unfamiliar with.  Elite knights burst through the emergency room, carrying a Cheleen and a chelesse in. It was the cheleen he was worried about. It was the dead chelesse with them.

The nurses put Cody on the operation table. She lost a lot of blood but it was very different from his kind.

There's a lot of questions that go through a doctor's mind. A bunch of what ifs. Within those what ifs are pros and cons. Dr. Narrack was going through that time.

"Princess, this operation is something out of my element. I'm afraid I can't do this. She lost a lot of her blood that we never seen nor study on our planet. We can't do something like this that can complicated her."

Emma didn't want to hear the doctor say. She just want her friend to come back.

"Even if we could, our species blood is very different from yours. Her body may have a dangerous affect. I'm very sorry, your highness."

Dr. Narrack left the room, looking down at the ruby floor. The knights walked out of the room giving the Princess her time alone. After they left, they hear screaming and crying and things knocked at the walls.

Frac closed his eyes, Drageon hugging him. Nathan was in a different room, coming to his sense. He was laying in hospital bed. Pain hit his head, causing him not to open his eyes. The scenes repeat in his head before he was unconscious. His best friend was dead, by the assassin he should've killed the moment he fought him.

-A week after-

Princess Emma and Nathan attend the funeral of their best friend. Emma didn't talk to anyone even Nathan or Frac. Frac didn't want to bother the Princess in her time of grief. He's been handling her duties since he was raised by the King and knew what to do around the kingdom. But he just want her to feel better.

After the funeral, Emma went back to her quarters, not socializing with Zee who continue to her job, hiding her emotions for her deceased girlfriend. All she did was lay on the bed and cry.

The knights brought in the Cody's body, not for burial but to freeze. They put it in the freezer room with the other bodies in there.

Nathan become ruthless and agressive against other knights in Master Qin's class. He would've kill the opponent if Master Qin didn't interfere.

"Nathan, I know those eyes. I've seen them before. You won't be better than him. You need time to get your mind in the right lane. Go to your quarters!"

Nate rolled his eyes, slide Hawkmoon on his back and storm off out of the training room.

Master Qin scratch the right side of his mouse-like ear. There was an familiar feeling he was going to experience with his favorite students. He'll have to speak with Nathan before it's too late.
