Yup nothing happened. I headed down the stairs to find squid making breakfast. "God you guys aren't quiet!," he said breaking into laughter. "Oy oy oy don't make fun, it's not funny!," I laughed and started to tickle him. We had just started a tickle fight when Beth came down the stairs. "A tickle fight? Without me?!," she exclaimed running over to us tickling both our stomachs. "Okay okay! Stopppppppp!," I yelled between laughs. They both cut it out still giggling. Beth pulled out her phone and smiled a HUGE grin. "What is it?" I asked. "My old best friend is coming over! Ugh I haven't seen her for ages! I can't wait!," she seemed really excited so I was excited too.

Yay! I was so excited! I was going to see my best friend after about 3 years maybe? We talked over video chat and skype but that was all! Boy I had a lot to tell her! I missed her so much!

As soon as she got here it seemed as if the laughing never stopped. It was just like old times. We had gone out for a short walk. "Beth," she asked the same devious grin she always had," you wanna do something... Slightly illegal?" My mouth gaped open, but I was smiling. "Of course and what is this *slightly* illegal thing?" I asked. "Okay so nearby there is this big gate and everyone always tells ghost stories about the place behind the gate. Would you care to investigate?" "Okay..." I hesitated. "Don't worry I have everything well need in this rucksack." She said smiling reassuring me. "Okay then let's go!"

We ran off in the direction of the 'gate'. It was creepy. Vines, old trees, dead flowers, it looked like something straight out of a horror movie. Heather looked slightly scared but she looked at me and gave a small determined smile. "Are you scared?," she asked. "Me? I laugh in the face of danger, HAHAHAHAAHAAHA!!" I exclaimed using a quote from the lion king." You always loved the lion king." She said smiling at me. "Okay I'll boost you up." We walked over to the gate and she cupped her hands. I put one foot on them and heaved myself up onto the top of the gate. Heather threw a rope up to me. "Tie it up to one of those little hoops that way we have a way to get out." Now it was getting creepier. But I was determined. Okay. Let's do this thing. I let the rope down to her so she could climb up beside me. Once she was at the top she took the rope and put it ok the other side and started to climb down.
I hastily headed down after her.
Loads of plants. LOADS! I decided to text Joe just in case: hey I'm on 16th street behind a big creepy gate. Remember that in case I need saving okay?

Just in case. It was so creepy back here. Joe texted back quickly:
Joe=🐱.  Beth=🐥

🐱get out now.
🐥why?
🐱JUST GET OUT!
🐥WHY WHATS WRONG?!
🐱nevermind I'm coming to get you stay where you are.
🐥Joe?
🐱what Beth?
🐥I love you.
🐱I love you too.

Why was he flipping out? What happened back here. Heather ran to me screaming. "GO GO GO! GET OUT OF HERE!" I saw a figure limping out from the shadows. I grabbed heathers hand and ran to the rope. I climbed up pulling her with me. The figure was getting closer. We made it over the fence just in time. We ran. Ran ran ran. We got stopped by joes car pulling up beside us. He opened the door and let us in. "Are you guys okay?!" He asked his voice worried. "Yeah we're fine.thank god." I said. Heather looked at me and started lightly laughing. I laughed with her. We were soon laughing until our bellies hurt. You gotta love her. Joe just looked at is like we were crazy. We got home and heather went home with a long goodbye. I had an eventful day today and I ended up falling asleep on the couch in joes arms.

Sorry it was short but I really wanted to add in a nice chapter before it starts getting darker. Be prepared. Have all your feels ready!
