Great. Another dispute with her mother. And this time? Over a god d.amn dress. Couldn't her mother leave her alone? Why was she saying Amara always had an attitude when she didn't? Sometimes she just wasn't talkative. She had lots on her mind.
Like homework... like Alex.
She stood there in a dress she was trying trying on for homecoming which was tomorrow and stared in the mirror. She was going with a group of friends from her old school since in her new school freshman couldn't go. She missed her friends terribly and was super excited to go.
It was just her mother. A her annoying, overbearing mother. She didn't want her wearing this Forever 21 dress that was black with two mesh stripes around the middle. Instead, she had preferred a sparkly, sequined silver dress that was strapless. Obviously polar opposites. Much like Amara and her mother. Really all it came down to was her friends decision.
Speaking of friends. She had told her very bestest friend whom she had trusted most with her secret of Alex. Not him in general, most her friends knew of him, but the more darker part. The part she wanted nobody to know about. Salma, her friend, had been in disbelief. Seriously? She had to be joking. That's what her friend had told her. Then she had said "If that's true ima bang your a.ss with a pot!" Amara was afraid of the next time she would see her friend. She also hoped Salma didn't have any pots about her. Talk about dangerous.
She sat down in her dress and started thinking. She had sent the wrong the snapchat to the wrong person earlier of her in her first dress option. She had chosen her guy friend instead of her old friend Elizabeth whom she was going to homecoming with. So awkward. But being the nice friend he was, was totally cool with it and even responded with "pretty asf tho." Good old Marcus. She looked out her window at the darkening sky. It was just about 6 o'clock and the signs of sunset were creeping into the sky. Suddenly she thought 2am. 2am? What? Then she realized, her mental clock that told her the time it would be in Greece. She questioned why it was still floating around her head.Stop. Right now, Amara.
She refused to think of him. And Isa too. That b.itch. Well, not really. Technically she would be the b.itch. Whatever. Ever since the accident Amara had started to hate Isa and her name. All Isabels were immediately thrown into a category she wouldn't dare touch. No more Alex, no more Isabel, no more drama. But she wasn't entirely sure. Would he text her after she graduated high school like she had said? Would he wish her happy birthday on the 20th? She didn't know. But she often questioned herself. What if she gave in and texted Alex first? What if she actually did miss him?
She stood up and started getting out of her dress. F.uck this, she hated worrying and thinking of what could happen, what might happen. Screw it! She threw her dress on the bed, slipped on an over sized t-shirt and her black shorts and stalked out of her room.Stupid Alexander. Stupid s.ex. Stupid words. Why did that even happen?
She opened a cupboard and grabbed a cup. With the cup in hand, she pulled open the freezer and put ice into it. She threw the ice in harshly.I'm so sick of him, and thinking about him. Well, kinda...
She slammed her cup down and filled it with water.
F.uck.
I really need to get this story going.

RandomPretty fucked up story, just being honest. It was quiet enough that if she wasn't paying attention she wouldn't have caught it. He had said "I love you." They were not allowed to say that. It was forbidden. He was with a different girl, yet he said...
