Alex cracked open his eyes.

Good morning to me

He groaned, rolling off the bed and onto his feet. Standing straight, he intensely rubbed his eyes trying to rub away drowsiness. He dropped his arms to the sides  hearing a satisfying clap.

Another day...

Padding over to the dresser, he started thinking about the day to come. Two exams. 3 lessons. And classes. Boring, boring classes. Alex sbegan tugging up his pants. Systematically looping the belt through the belt loops and stumbling into the bathroom.

In the bathroom he looked at his sorry reflection in the mirror and sighed. He pushed on the mirror popping it off the magnet and looking into the medicine cabinet. Finding what I needed, I placed them on the counter, closed the mirror and finished buttoning up my shirt. He stared at his eyes in the mirror as he slid up his shirt.

His eyes then traveled down to his abs. They weren't Channing Tatum he thought amused.

F.uck... I cannot think of her.

His eyes dart back up to his mirrored eyes. The shoved the deodorant up his shirt and furiously rubbed under his arm pits. He picked up his tooth paste and tooth brush and spread the toothpaste on the brush. He ran it under the facet and continued to stare at his own eyes as he brushed his teeth.

Please not today. It's too early to be thinking about her. He thought to himself.

Her and her Americanness. Her sexy laugh. Her- Her nothing.

"Dammit." He sighs.

He rinsed his tooth brush and opened the cabinet putting everything back in. Then he retreated into his room. He reached on top of his dresser and uncapped his cologne for the day. He was agitated. But what he didn't know yet. Probably thinking of her at—he looked at the clock.

"Sh.it!" It was 8:05 and first period started at 8:10. "When did I wake up?!"

He rushed into the kitchen grabbing an apple and sprinted out the door yelling goodbye to his mom.

Alex stepped out of his first period at 8:55. He worried he flunked his test. His friend George caught up to him.

"Hey what's up with you?" George asked.

"I'm fine, why?" Alex is quick to respond. He just isn't in the mood right now.

"You're moody. What, is it like you time of the month?" George jokes.

"Your funny," Alex says sarcastically. "Now leave me be."

"Dude, seriously what's wrong with you?"

*Flashback*

"What do you mean?" I inquired. She wasn't making sense.

"Dude, I just-!"

"You've never called me 'dude' before."

"I-I uh..." He could tell she was embarrassed.

"You what?"

"I don't-" She started giggling. "Dude!"

She continued laughing and soon he joined in with her. It was nice.

*Flashback Over*

"Huh?" Alex blanked. Memory came, memory gone.

"Bro you gotta chill out. You aren't yourse-" George started.

"Shut up! I don't even care alright?" Alex snapped.

With that he stormed off leaving a confused and ticked off friend. Digging in his pocket he snatched his phone and headed to second period. He checked his phone. He wouldn't admit it, but he checked his phone now more than he ever did. He still had false hope she would contact him. Some obscure way. She never did. It's been 8 weeks.

He slumped into his chair thoroughly annoyed by the morning so far. His phone chirped revealing a new message from Isa. He put his phone away after reading "Good Morning Babe!!!💕✨😍 I ho-"

~~

Alex flopped onto his bed replaying the day's events. Jeez it was rough, and he hadn't made it any better. He groaned and stood up lumbering to his PC. He sat in his swivel chair while opening League of Legends, putting on his headphones and setting up the microphone.

"Hi losers." He spoke into the mic.

"Hey a.sshole," He hears George come through. "Wanna explain your sh.it today?"

"No," He wondered why he logged on in the first place.

"HI STRANGER!" He hear the overly excited voice of his girlfriend.

"Hey Isa." He says feeling tired. "I was just about to log off."

"You just got on!" She whined.

"Yeah I know. I've got a lot on my mind and I'm tired." He also wanted to have some of the night to himself.

And to f.ucking think.

"Alright..." Isa says quietly. "Good night."

"Bye f.aggot." George says jokingly.

Alex logged off and pushed away on his chair to his bedside. He pulled off everything until he was left in his boxers and socks. And after a second thought he took the socks off too. Then, he slid into his bed under the sheets -

*Flashback*

"I'd pull you close to me." He had said to her. His only response a breath.

"Under the fort.. we would cuddle together. I'd pull a sheet over u-"

Amara laughed suddenly saying "Ew Alex. Sheets?"

She had thrown him off. What the h.ell did she mean no sheets? "What?"

"Sheets. I hate sheets." She explains. Her laughter was muffled and he realizes she probably buried her face into her pillow.

"You ruined the moment, Am." He said.

"Oke." She had replied.

"Oke." He laughed at her, mimicking the way she said it.

"Aleexxxx," She whined. "It's not that funny!"

"Yes it is, now let's finish our fort."

*Flashback Over*

Sheets. She was so quirky. He checked the time, 12:47. He should really get some sleep. He was exhausted anyways.

Good night Am, he thought.
