Nichole POV

Eisuke froze when I uttered those words, "I'm a princess." He didn't say much, he just stared at me like I was crazy. "What the hell are you talking about?" He said. There was irratation in his voice, which made it harder to respond. "I-I'm the princess." I said below a whisper. "And how does that work exactly?" He said. I explained to him what happened at the auction to now. "I didn't understand it at first, but now I do." I said. Eisuke's face filled with anger, "what's that supposed to mean?" He said. "Th-the prince may need my help, DresVann is in huge trouble and Joshua can't handle it all by himself." I said. "So you're leaving me to marry a prince and run his country by his side?" He said. He's really mad now. "No! But I still wanna help, there's gotta be something I can do." I said. Oops, I didn't mean to sound so harsh, it probably sounded like I didn't care for his feelings. "E-Eisuke I didn't me-." "Get out." He said. There was a hint of sadness in his face, but that quickly dissapeared as coldness took over. He looks like he did when we first met, cold. I never thought I'd see that face again. "Why are you still standing there? Leave. I have no use for you anymore." His words cut me like a dagger to the heart. I felt tears well up in my eyes but I didn't let them fall. Eisuke left the room without saying another word.

"I have no use for you anymore." Eisuke's words played through my mind over and over. After I had left his room, I went home and cried for hours. It's been a week since I last saw Eisuke. I wonder how he's doing, probably fine now that I'm out the picture. Maybe this is for the best, I think.
Today's the day of the prince's party and everyone is dressed nice and waiting on the prince's arrival. It looks like it's gonna rain.

While I'm putting together a few finishing touches for the party, I see the guys out of the corner of my eye, but no Eisuke. Baba walks over to me with a worried look on his face. The guys following right behind him. "Hi Nichole." He said. His voice sounds a little gloomy. "Hi, I didn't know you guys would be here." I said. "There were no auctions today so we were bored." Ota said. "Well, where's Eisuke?" I said. Everyone's face clouded over with worry. "A-About that." Soryu said. What's going on? Just then, I see Eisuke coming down the stairs into the lobby. But he's not alone, my heart dropped. There's beautiful woman on his arm. Way more beautiful then me, she could be a model. Eisuke looked my way, he had a cold look on his face. Then he turned away. I felt tears burning in my eyes, I didn't want to cry but I couldn't help it. Seeing Eisuke with her was just too painful. "Excuse me I have to go!" I said. "Nichole wait!" Baba said. But I didn't look back, I ran out into the rain and never looked back.

Prince Joshua POV

As soon as the limo pulls up in front of Tres Spades, I see reporters and cameras flashing. Ugh I hate the press. Since Nichole left DresVann, she's all I can think about. I wonder if she's here? As I step out of the limo, I'm bombarded by press. "Have you found a bride to help you secede the throne?!" "What are your plans for DresVann?!" "Do you hate your country." These people disgust me, I just wanna go inside and try to enjoy my birthday. As I was walking towards the entrance, I saw a woman dash out of the hotel. She kinda looks like... Nichole?

Eisuke POV

I am fully pissed off today, and this poor excuse for a woman that I brought as my "date" isn't making my mood any better. "Oh Eisuke, I'm so glad you asked me to be your date!" I really didn't ask her, she basically followed me here, I just let her. I didn't have a date anyway so why not, I'm seriously starting to regret that now. As I entered the lobby, I looked over and saw Nichole, she looked sad, like she was about to cry. What's wrong? She can't possibly think I'm with this woman. I was mad that she didn't tell me about her past. I don't like Joshua either, how dare he try to take what's mine. "Eisukeeee are you listening?" My thoughts were interrupted by a irritating voice. It's that woman I brought with me, or who followed me here. "Will you shut up, you're voice is annoying." I said. "How dare you!" She raised her hand to slap me, but I grabbed her wrist and smirked. "I wouldn't try that if I were you." I said. "Ugh, you're such an asshole Eisuke Ichinomiya!" She stomped off, whatever. I need to talk to Nichole, I don't care about Prince Joshua, she's mine. "Nichole wait!" I hear what sounds like Baba's voice and turn around. Where's Nichole?

Nichole POV

Tears were now streaming down my face. They blurred my vision and I sooner found myself bumping into prince Joshua. I-I'm sorry. "Don't be I saw you crying and I ran after you." He admitted." That's so sweet. He actually cares wow this is different. I snapped out of my thoughts when he started to embrace me. "Let's go back to my kingdom." he suggested.
"But we can't your birthday-" I was cut off. "You're way more important. Besides, this party looks idiotic and boring anyways." He implied. He put his jacket over me and we walked to the limo together. "Thank you." I muttered. "Your welcome." He smiled. Wow I can't believe he could actually be nice to me. I'm extremely grateful and I smile the whole ride to DresVann.
