I wake up and I was on the floor of Cameron's room. It was fucking cold last night that I need a huge blanket draped around me. I then remember falling asleep down here. I look up at the bed, seeing it shaking. I look up and I see Cameron tossing and turning. I hear him crying and whimpering. I get in the side of the bed and shake him a little.

"Cameron, wake up," I said kind of loudly.

He sprang up, and started to breath heavily. I notice he was sweating like a pig on a hot summer day. I hear him mumbling something, but couldn't understand what. He starts tugging on his hair and hugs his knees to his chest. I tap his shoulder and he was instantly taken out of his trance.

"How long were you sitting there?" He asked quickly.

"Two minutes, I saw you were having a nightmare," I said sitting closer to him.

He looked up at me with tears in his eyes. I pull him in for a side hug, and he snuggled into my chest. I rub his back in circles. He slowly calms down and bites his lip. He starts to chuckle and wipe the tears away from his eyes.

"I'm sorry N-Nash, I'm such a mess," he said laying back.

"Not a mess, a hot mess," I said chucking,"Come on I'll make you breakfast."

"Nash, it's fine," he said putting the plate over my head,"Besides, I'm not hungry."

I was astonished that Cameron Alexander Dallas, my best friend, isn't hungry. This is the first time, I ever heard this coming out of his mouth. Is he sick? He must be, he would never say that to me. Come to think of it, he does looks kind of pale. I remove the pillow from his face and I felt his head which was burning hot.

"Hey Cameron, you feel a little warm," I said looking down at the sick looking boy,"Are you okay?"

He looked up at me nodding his head, but I didn't believe him for a second. He put the pillow back over his head, groaning in discomfort. He looked like a ghost because he was so pale. He was sweating like a pig. He basically looks sick.

"Cam, you're sweating, let's take off your sweatsh-,"  I said when Cameron slapped my hands away from his sweatshirt.

"No! I mean I'm cold," he said holding his stomach,"Feel my hands."

They felt like icicles, so I guess it's staying on. I decided to pick up some medicine to help with his illness. So I get up to leave when he pulled me back down on the back. He gave me this worried look that made me feel weak in the knees. This worried look that a puppy might give you.

"Cam, I'm just going to pick up some medicine," I said calming down.

"I don't need--," he said before rushing into the bathroom.

I see him hovering over the toilet, regurgitating what he ate. I walk over, sitting beside him, and rubbing his back. After ten minutes of throwing up, he finally stop. Now he look transparent, so I'm not playing any games with him. He's getting medicine, whether he likes it or not. He looks up at him and blushed.

"Yep, I'm definitely getting medicine for you," I said ruffling his hair.

He slowly nods and hugs his knees to his chest. I frowned and ruffled his hair again. Then I left the bathroom to grab his phone, and a couple of pillows. I put his phone right next to him and I put the pillows under him. He looked up at me with this worried look. I knelt down next to him, staring into his eyes.

"I won't be long, just call me if you needs anything," I said getting up,"And hang in there, okay?"

He nodded his head and snuggled his but into the pillow. I chuckled at that then left the room. I ran downstairs and out the sliding door. I look outside and the fog cleared up. I make a beeline  into the wood and ran all the way home to get my car. I already got my keys in my pocket so I just unlock the door and drive to the drug store.

It wasn't packed, so I shouldn't have to worry about long lines. I jog back to the back of the store, try to find the correct medicine. I finally found it and ran on line. There was an old lady look through her unorganized purse. She took out five coupons then searching for something else. At this point I almost felt like running out without paying, but I tried to be patient with her.

"Now where is that wallet of mine," she said fishing through her bag.

Finally a worker finally show that I was about the do something rational if she didn't hurry up. The worker called me over and I sprinted over. Just as I left the line, she found her wallet. I rolled my eyes and put the medicine on the table. She rang it up and put it in a bag. I gave her the exact amount of change then bolted out of the store. Just then I heard my phone buzz, it was Cameron calling me, so I answered immediately.

"Hello," I said waiting for a reply.

I heard him throw up a couple times before he could answer. I hear him start to cry and throw up again. I heard things knocking over and breaking. It finally went silent and I heard a faint voice.

"N-Nash, please c-come h-home," he said hearing him cry.

"Hang in there Cammie, I'm coming on to your street," I said speeding up.

"H-Hurry, N-," he said before throwing up again.

The phone hung up when I got to his house. I had a key to his house, just in case he got locked out. I burst through the door running upstairs to Cameron's room. I ran into his room and saw him laying down and holding his stomach. I run in and gently to sat him up. I gave him the pills and he swallowed them. He started to cry more and held his stomach tighter. I picked him up and brought him to his bed. I lay him down and put a blanket over him. I was about to leave when I heard Cameron's faint voice again.

"N-Nash, c-can you stay w-with me?" He asked nervously.

I walk back over to him and sat on the edge of the bed. I crawled on top of him and smiled down at him.

"Did you really think I was going to leave you here?" I asked thinking that he crazy,"I was going to get you some water."

"Okay," he said smiling.

I got off of him and exit the room to get him a glass of water. Within an hour, Cameron started eating again. So we pretty much spent the whole day watching Netflix and him holding to me for dear life.
