Friday October 30th 1978. Robert, Betty, Charles, Mary, and Virginia were hanging out in the afternoon. They were discussing Halloween the next day and deciding what they were going to do. "Hey maybe we should go to that creepy house down the road!" Robert suggested. Charles got a frightened look on his face. "I-i d-don't think w-we sh-should." He studdered. The group looked at him all surprised.
"Oh come on Charles!" Betty exclaimed. "Don't be such a party pooper!!" She play punched him on the shoulder. He rubbed his shoulder. "I-i just think that m-maybe w-we should just go trick or treating." They all looked at him. They knew he was a scaredy cat on halloween, but was he really afraid of going to a silly little haunted house? It might not even be all that haunted! "Charles, your such a wuss!" Betty yelled. "Trick or treating is for little kids! Your 16 years old! Get out of kid land and come join us in teenager land!" Betty flicked his temple. Everybody laughed but Charles still had a worried look on his face. "Alright! It's decided! Were going to the haunted house!" Virginia exclaimed. And no question about it, they all went.
