No Turning Back

Chapter 8

Betty was still running with Roberts arm in her hand, when she felt something wrap around her ankles and pull her to the ground. Whatever was haunting this house, didn't want them to leave. Betty and Robert fell to the ground with a loud thud. Betty felt a slight tug. It felt as though something was washing over her. Suddenly she blacked out.

Robert was scared. He watched as Betty's eyes turned completely black. Blood started dripping from her mouth. Betty then put her hands onto her head and was about to twist, when Robert suddenly shot out and grabbed her hands. She let out a low hiss. He wasnt about to lose her to. Wasnt about to watch her die. She glared at him then attacked. She had him down on the ground when suddenly Betty took control of her own body and got off of Robert. "I'm sorry." Betty started. "Did I scare you?" She tilted her head in a creepy manner then lunged at Robert. She started hitting him and eventually made him faint. Good. The demon inside betty thought. Hes gone.

Robert woke up with a jolt and hit his head on something hard. He rubbed his head where he hit it and started looking around. Then he remembered what happened. He began to worry. Where was Betty? He remembered what she tried to do before he had stopped her. He hoped she hadnt done it. He looked around more frantically and just when he had thought she was dead, he saw a body shift. It had to be Betty. The red hair, perfect body, same outfit she was wearing the day before. He looked over to see her face. It was her! Robert blew a sigh of releif when she opened her eyes and looked up at him. He was still worried that the demon was inside of her. She smiled. "Can we get out of here or are you still obsessed with this place?" She asked. Robert laughed. It was the first time he had laughed since the game of truth or dare with the rest of the group.

"Ya we can leave." Robert announced.

"Oh thank god." Betty breathed in releif and tilted her head back.
