"Come on Robert! Were almost there!"

Robert was falling behind. He had used to much energy in the first bit of running. He was panting so much, Betty thought he was going to explode. But Betty was determined to get out of there with him. She couldn't live with herself if she left him there to die.

Suddenly Robert fell face first onto the ground. He sat up and what Betty saw was something she just couldn't stand. His nose was crooked and bleeding. His lip was cut and bleeding. It's was horrifying.

Betty then ripped off some of the sleeve from her dress and started dabbing his cuts. She needed to clean it. If she didn't, she wouldn't know what would happen.

She was cut off by them walking through the light. Betty went blind. She couldn't see anything. She tried to call out to Robert but there was no answer.
