It was 8:37am, too early for this crap. I hop out of bed, tiptoeing down the stairs, hesitating as I walk to the door, peeking out of the window first.

I was shocked to see who it was. She was gorgeous. Six foot tall, slick black hair, perfect makeup and magnificent blue eyes, ones that only she has. I wanted to look like her. I knew exactly who she was, guess I better open the door to find out why she was furiously pounding on my door.

Twisting the door knob slowly, her piercing blue eyes met mine, burning holes into my head. She barged her way into my house pushing me aside and stormed into my room where Jaxon lie sleeping with Muki. I chased after, pulling her shoulders back. She turned to me and glared, quickly returning her focus back on Jaxon. I only wanted her out of my house, no violence. But I would hurt her if I had to. She needed to leave. Now.

Muki's head bobbed up, his eyes shooting open, wide awake now. He yarned at the appearance of her. I liked that about him. Not even a week old and he was bored by her. She picked him up and threw him on the ground. This got me angry. Get out of my house. Away from my boyfriend. Away from my dog. Get out. She shook Jaxon waking him from his adorable sleep. Man, she pissed me off.

This is Jaxon's ex girlfriend, Cori. She still hasn't said a word, and I wanted to know why she was in my house.

"Why are you here? Get out of my house Cori!" I said through my teeth.

"Doesn't matter, I need to talk to Jaxon." She said giving an evil grin that sent shivers down my spine.

"Why? He doesn't want to talk to you so leave. Don't you understand what ex means?" I spit the words at her like venom, I wish it would've killed her.

"Both of you stop yelling! Im trying to sleep here! God Cori, what could you possibly want? Parker is my girlfriend and I don't want anything to do with you anymore. So what is it that you came here for?" Jaxon said in a tone I'd never heard him use.

"I don't remember. After being attacked by your bitch, I don't remember. God damn it Parker!" She yelled again.

"K get out now. Bye." I said coldly.

Cori started for the door and remembered what she came to say. "Jaxon, I came to tell you that our friend Courtney, remember her? Yeah, well, she has cancer. She told me to get ahold of you because she wants you in the room when she wakes up from her surgery. Don't ask me why, cause I ain't gotta clue why." She said, adding a country twang we both knew she didn't have. "That's what I came to tell you."

"Well okay then. I'll be there. I'll call her later to find out the details. Now get the hell out of my house." Jaxon said calmly. He didn't say anything else until she left, which took another 10 minutes to do.
