After we caught our breath, I softly say "it's okay" hoping he would hear. "I should be sorry, I should've helped"

I just wanted to clear things up so there was no tension. No problems within Jaxon. No problems with Caleb. No problems with me.

I shuffled across my tiny little apartment sized kitchen, this time getting the orange juice out of the refrigerator. I flashed my eyes up at Jaxon, giving the 'do-you-want-some?' look. He nodded. Without saying anything, I poured us each a glass and sat at the table again.

This headache from my hangover was the last thing I wanted at noon on a Saturday. The meds hadn't kicked in yet and my head was still thumping in pain. It was one of those headaches that you thought could kill you. The pain was sitting behind my right eye, it seemed as if it was trying to dig itself out of my head with a rusty fork.

It hurt.

Jaxon had to leave for work at 3, so we spent our time cuddling in the dark, watching Disney movies. That was just one thing I liked about Jaxon, he was willing to do random things with me. Like watching kid movies.

We watched 'The Lion King' and just cuddled. At around 2:45, Jaxon crawled out of the bed, taking his warmth with him. He was getting dressed into his uniform for work and quickly stripped off his hoodie and t-shirt. He put on his black shirt with a white city logo and navy blue pants. I watched from across the room, still under the covers on the bed. He fastened his belt around his waist and buckled it before coming over to kiss me goodbye. He started to walk out of the bedroom door and said, "Drink lots of water babe". I heard the door click shut and the sound of his truck engine roar down the driveway.

Just laying there in my bed trying to warm up wasn't working. I was shivering without his radiating heat. So I grabbed the biggest blanket I had, wrapped it around my whole body and walked to the living room. The whole house was quiet, helping my headache but making me feel lonely. Usually I would have gone to work today but with this nasty hangover, no work would be done.

As my headache went away, and I could now stand the lights, I climbed the stairs to the bathroom. The floor was freezing and a chill ran down my spine. I looked in the mirror and realized what I looked like. My hair was in a messy bun, that had almost fallen all the way out, and my makeup had all worn off. I looked like I got hit by a bus. Why hadn't Jaxon said anything?

Oh well, I just wanted to look good when he came home, so I turned the radio up loud and hopped in the shower letting the boiling water rush over my skin. It felt good, headache was gone and I was warming up.

I had nothing planned for the rest of my day, but I wanted to go shopping. Scratch that idea, I had no money. Zero dollars. Next idea..... I got nothing. Suddenly and idea popped into my blond little head. I'm going to Caleb's house!

Jaxon wouldn't care as long as Caleb didn't touch me so who would mind? He is my bestfriend after all. I'd go hangout over at his place, help clean up if needed. He was probably sleeping, still hungover. He stayed up and partied until around 5 when he called me, extremely drunk. Well it was time to wake up!

I jumped out of the shower wrapping myself in a towel and headed to my room. I put on frresh clothes and two pairs of socks to keep warm. I wore a plain long sleeved shirt and flew down the stairs to grab Jaxon's hoodie. It smelled so good! Walking back upstairs again, I turned on my straightener to heat up and started blow drying my hair. It took an hour and 45 minutes to blowdry and completely straighten my hair before I was ready to go.

I took one last look into the mirror sitting on my vanity and threw on my shoes. I walked out the front door and locked it behind me. Pulling on the car door handle, it squeaked open. I sat down inside and threw my bag in the passenger's seat. I couldn't decide wether or not to call Caleb ahead or just surprise him. What if he had a girl stay over? I should call.

I reached over into my bag and grabbed my phone, hitting his speed dial number. It rang 3 times before I heard Caleb's voice on the other end.

"Hello?" He had an edge to his voice that scared me a little. He never talked to me like that.

"Hey Caleb, what's up?" I gave my voice a happy tone trying to turn the conversation around.

"Nothing Parker." He sounded pissed off at something. I couldn't figure out what was wrong. What happened after I left?

"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to bother you," I said. I let it go for the moment. He sounded pissed. "Can I come over?"

"Sure, do whatever you want" He snapped back at me.

"I'll be over in a few," I replied, trying to hide the fact that he was pissing me off already. Why was he talking to me like this?

I pulled up in his drive about 10 minutes after the phone call. His house looked different, the curtains were drawn and his yard was trashed. I worked my way up to his front door, which was always open, especially when he knew I was coming over. It was locked. Why was he being so weird? He was acting so different. Caleb was never like this after parties. What happened?

I knocked on the door and heard footsteps coming to answer it. It wasn't Caleb. It was someone else I'd never met, I didn't recognize her face. Who was she?

"What do you want?" The girl asked in a threatening tone.

"Uh? I came to see Caleb. Who are you?" I questioned back.

"Doesn't matter, just get inside." She said, motioning me in. I hesitated before taking my first step into Caleb's house.
