Lydia:

After breakfast, I decided it was my turn to pick what we do

"Ok boys! Let's go play catch!" I hear their groans from down the hallway.

"No! Baseball players are gay!" They say at the same time.

"It will be our little secret. Plus, we'll be playing with a softball.

*****

After finding three pre-broken in gloves and a softball, we head out to a grassy patch in the yard. Finally a game I can beat them in. I've been playing for eight years, and I know that they will be terrible at it.

I'm right. Owen throws too hard, right over my head.

"I'm just used to throwing a football!" he makes up excuses as he runs after the ball.

"Yeah right! You aren't a quarterback, you're defence! You never have to throw the ball!" Luke yells back.

"Shut up!" Owen jokes. Luke isn't much better. He is just all over the place. He's trying to throw without taking a step, and after about 2 hours of trying to teach him, I give up.

"You are both helpless." I say as we walk back into the house. They laugh, and continue to make excuses. When I get to my closet, I realize I forgot to get my clothes after last night.

Last night, what will I do about you? Last night gave me feeling completely different than when I'm with Luke. I push those thoughts away. When I walk into Owen's room to get my clothes, I notice he already has them, holding my blue blouse up to his face. I fake cough.

"Oh! I was just about to take these over to you." He gives the fakest laugh I have ever heard.

"Keep the blouse as payment for your body heat." I joke. He tosses my shirt on his bed and hands the rest to me. Apparently I thought I was serious. Oh well, he can keep it. It's not like I'm lacking for clothes. Whatever. I like this feeling. knowing that I have these two boys chasing after me, that they actually pay attention to me, and find me attractive. I hope...
