Owen:
Luke made macaroni and cheese for lunch, and it was actually pretty good. When I went to change to get in the hot tub, I heard a knock on the door, and I knew it was Lydia. I spritzed some cologne and took my shirt off.
"Come in." I was wrong, it was just Luke.
"Uh hey man. I just came to ask if that was a hickey on your neck." He did notice. I didn't know if this was a good thing or a bad thing.
"Um, yeah. Lid came and slept with me last night." His eyes bulged, and I finally realized what I said.
"Oh no no no no no. Not like that. She was cold, so she asked if she could sleep in my bed to keep warm. We kissed, that's it."
"Kissed? And she gave you a hickey?"
"Uh yeah. She likes it when my kisses are rough." I say remembering last night. Owen, I hear her voice, You should know that I like it when you kiss me like that.
"She does?" He asks
"Well, I don't know if she is qualified to say what she likes or not, she's only kissed two people." I offer, trying to make him feel better. I don't want to completely crush his spirits. so I try to make it better.
"Hey, but she did try to get me to kiss her softer.."
"YEAH BECAUSE YOU MANHANDLE HER!" Luke outcries. We hear the soft patter of Lydia's feet coming down the hallway.
"What is going on?!?" She demands.
"Your boy toy here seems to be obsessed with treating you like-like-like- one of those footballs that his kind of jock loves to chuck arounfd"
"Well at least I'm not scared of her! And what's that supposed to mean? You're just jealous because I'm more of a man than you!"
"Guys, please explain!" Lydia begs, but Luke only huffs, and storms out of the room.
"Luke and I got in a disagreement about how you should be treated." I sigh, and her brow furrows.
"What do you mean?"
"He asked me how I got this hickey, but the surprising thing is that he didn't seem very mad that we were kissing. He got mad because I told him about what you said."
"What did I say?"
"About how you liked my rough kisses." I bite my lip and look her in the eye, and her brow creases deeper in confusion.
"Ugh." Is all she says as she follows Luke down the hall.
