Owen:

The rest of the day goes smoothly, we sit in the hot tub, eat dinner, and after we watch the Notebook. I cried. It wasn't until wasn't in bed that night that the pain hit me. Not the pain of Luke's punch, that was nothing compared to this.

As I try to fall asleep, all I can hear in Luke and Lydia kissing and laughing in the other room. I really thought she was different, that she would love me for my personality, not my biceps. But I guess I was wrong. She didn't love me at all, which is worse. I'm not mad at her, I really am not. I'm just, well, heartbroken. My chest feels like it's hollow, and I can't get enough air. I try to not let my sobs be audible, but a few ezcape. She is too busy enjoying Luke to hear my pain. I fall asleep, my head on her blouse, her sent lulling me to sleep.
