It has been a week since my best friend Joaquin found out that I am currently working at a coffee shop, and also..... it has been a week of a an embarrassing moments.... like after the day when Joaquin saw me at the coffee shop wearing a maid outfit, he just won't stop teasing me about it and he keeps on bugging me like..... all the time! The teacher already caught us smacking each other with a notebook during math class and then made us stand in front of the class for an hour! Gosh! It was all his fault.
All I wanted now is some peace and quiet moment but instead...... I got a lot of questions from our classmates, they kept on telling me that we look cute together especially when we are fighting.... like couple.
They also started to say that we are some kind of an item and we should totally get together.... they mean 'together'...... their words not mine. But it was annoying as hell!
We all (my classmates and I) now that... that can never happen, cause Joaquin is already in a relationship with one of the most prettiest girl in our school and they are like so famous and everybody knows them, and also there is more than just that.... Some other reasons too.......
Joaquin never stopped bugging me... his a demon spawn... I swear, if he keeps on annoying me I will be imprisoned cause soon or later I'm going to kill him...!
Today was Monday and I really don't feel like going to school today but apparently someone really close to me asked me that we should walk together to school..... and that person is no other than my BFF Joaquin.
'NOTE THE SARCASM! :)'
Now I am walking with him and I noticed he was quite out of this universe.... guys seriously he was the one who asked for this but he decided to play a quiet game?, I laughed mentally.
I really don't understand why he is being so quiet today cause most of the time he is the one that is initiating a war..... but I guess he's not in for it today.
Few more minutes have passed and he isn't speaking yet so I decided to break the silence between us... as I spoke
"you know I heard that there is going to be a fireworks display tomorrow"
I said to him as then he looked into my eyes and said "yeah I know" I rollled me eyes at him but then I gave him a heart warming smile and replied "so.... are you up for it?" I asked him and I guess he was quite shocked when I asked him to come because I felt that he tensed, but then it disappeared then I continued "why don't you bring your girlfriend there... it would be so romantic" me and my stupid mouth... I mentality slapped myself.
He frowned and replied "I have to ask her first cause you know she doesn't like too much noise" and he smiled.
We didn't noticed that we already arrived at the school grounds until I felt like we are being watched by many eyes...... I stopped on my tracks when I felt something warm and tightening around my small right hand.
I decided to look down at my right hand just to find it was intertwined with Joaquins' left hand..... I internally gasped at shock, then I quickly yanked it away from his grasp.. how long are we holding hands? Gosh this is so embarrassing... "sorry" we said in unison and we laughed awkwardly and I noticed him scratching the back of his neck, and I giggled at his reaction. Because he's nervous!.
"Why are you laughing" Joaquin asked me with an irritated look on his face, I just shrugged it off and replied casually "nothing...... I just think you're cute when you're scratching the back of your neck like a kid" we laughed.
I noticed that students kept on glancing at us and some were whispering and it is really bugging me like hell!
So I decided to go to class already but suddenly Joaquin spoke.... "I think I have to go.... I...I don't wanna be late for class... I guess I'll see you around?" He said as I nodded in agreement and he walked away.
More like sprinted away....
I noticed also that his girlfriend Stephanie was cathcing up to him. And they both went up to class leaving me alone dumb founded....... then I remembered something.........' Joaquin was my classmate.... why did he left me here!!??'
