My day started at around 12 noon. We've learned where Xavier and Austin go to school. We plan to study here until we can all go back together. I was about to go out hoping to meet Xavier when James called me, "I've got something to tell you. Go outside."
"Why? Is there something wrong?" I said with a doubt.
"No, just go out Ms. Ignacio." He laughed. "You'll be really delighted." I went out and saw James on a Red Ferrari with cream leather interior.
"Wow, nice car Jamie." We both laughed. He stepped down just before I could open the car.
"Wait, Ms. Ignacio, please allow me to open the door." We both laughed. I think he's really in a good mood.
"I haven't seen you this fashionable. You're really upgrading. I think going here is really a benefit for you." I looked at him with amazement, "You wear a nice dark fitted jeans that suited your body, peach colored shirt and a black coat. You're really adapting the new Philippine fashion. Very fit for the countries weather." he laughed.
"So as you Ms. Ignacio. You look nice." He said, "I've come to tell you that you can meet Xavier later but not now."
"What's exciting that made you this happy." I asked him, "Why can't I see him now?"
"Because, the school's having a Christmas Gala and good thing that we're inviting even though we had just been admissioned. There you can make an expression to xavier for the first time that will surely make you really happy. So as Xavier as well. I guess he really missed me." He laughed as he starts to drive
"Hey, what about me. He missed me as well." I was jealous
"That's given as well." He continued, "I kidnapped you for one reason." I was curious.
"What is it?" I said.
"You'll know later. When we arrive." We got into the famous Manila Bay sea side drive which overviews the reclaimed island situated at the center of the Manila Bay which is now the 150 square kilometer business city of the Philippines project by the Founier Family. It is the world's leading international financial and leisure center. "That's the New Global City or NGC for short. I haven't realized how wealthy Xavier were until we arrive here."
"Yeah, me too." I agreed, "It's like their the countries backbone. Last time I checked India was the third largest GDP worldwide but the Philippines surpassed it with six trillion dollars GDP with an anual 15% increase for three years because of the strategic location of the country in Southeast Asia as the hub for business trade and not to mention the influence Fournier Group brought being the largest Multinational Conglomerate in the world with an anual revenue of eight trillion dollars." I took a deep breath that made me exhausted.
"You really took homework seriously." He laughed with a little bit amazement in his face.
"I just got curious that's why." I continued, "Are you jealous?" He went silent.
"Their family wealth accumulated to a staggering 30 trillion Dollars." We're both shocked.
"Hey! That's even bigger than the US, China and Philippines and even with India's GDP" I was really shocked, "Where did you even get that information."
"My father is a shareholder at Fournier Group. And you don't need to be a shareholder to know that." He continued, "It's all over the internet. It's a breakthrough in the history. It's even bigger than Dutch East India Company with 7 trilliion market capitalization compared to Founier Group of 18 trillion market capitalization and only 3 decades of success, his father is a legend."
"We got so wealthy because of them. we have 3% or Prefferred and 5 % common voting shares." I bragged, "But how many are your shares does your family have?"
