Fallen Angels

In the Beginning

In the beginning there was only night

Fractions of atoms searching for light

Then came the bang as the Divine openly said

"Let there be light!" as genesis read

Then the Divine made man in God's own image

Then man got mean and started to scrimmage

As time went on and he seen their hate

Time to restart and God sealed their fate

Great mountains of water flowing over the earth

To give life to others more worthy of birth

The world started anew and he witnessed it all

The angel from heaven that decided to fall

He witnessed her birth and fell in love

He witnessed her heart through all the crud

As she grew older and got closer to him

He witnessed the day her life became dim

He touched her soul gently and seen what she feared

All the pain she faced and the hurt was so near

In that moment unnoticed by them both

Something of him transferred to the host

It sent a spark deep inside of her

His ability to love had become a blur

It was all focused and locked deep inside

For when he touched her, she opened her eyes

She could see the world as it was meant to be

But how could she cope with so many enemies

As he watched he knew his fate

He had to show her before it was to late

Falling from heaven just to get to the girl

The one that showed him another side to the world

For in the beginning there was only black

But now he knows what his life has lacked

On his way now more human then before

He has to show her the truth of the door

She sees with new eyes that she never knew she had

For behind that door is the road to his dad
