Chapter 3

"Um...,well yeah?" I said almost questionably.

"Since when?" she asked eagerly.

"Since when I was born?" I retorted.

"How come you didn't tell me?" she asked pouting.

"Because you didn't ask and you were too conceited always worrying about your looks," I said.

She smacked my arm and yelled, "hey!"

"I was just kidding.. Damn drama queen!" I said laughing.

"But for reals.. How come you didn't tell me?"

"Because you didn't ask!" I exclaimed.

"Argh.. Sometimes I'm not proud of myself.. But wait! How come you never brought it up?" she asked.

"Gosh Monica! Shut your mouth," I dragged.

"Katelyn!" she exclaimed.

"Because you are an only child. And you didn't ask. And we never came across a time that reminded me of siblings. And my brother haven't been in touch. Left me here when I was still young. And I didn't wanna talk about it. And you came years after what happened. He only called now because he's visiting. He's engaged. He's coming with his special person. Name is Noah. He's gay. So, back off!" I said all at once.

She went silent for a moment.

"Yas!" She exclaimed.

"Why are you happy?" I asked.

"Because your brother's gay!" She jumped with glee.

"So?" Not following to where she was headed.

"I get to have a gay friend!"

"Who says you can be his friend?" I asked jokingly.

"I can be friends with him if I want to be!" She stomped and crossed her arms like a child.

"Monica! The show!" I said.

"Oh yeah," she said changing her mood from snappy to happy.

"Monica go and take a shower..," I said.

"Excuse me! I ain't smelly!" She said offended.

"Dude! I'm gonna shower too. We have to get cleaned. My brother is coming remember?" I said in a duh tone.

"Oh shoots bye!" she went off.

Seems like she's too excited to meet Noah.. Sighs...

I turned off the TV then went into my bathroom.
After showering, I put on my bra, panties, white crop top, some sweatpants, and my converse shoes. I also put on some lotion and a bit of makeup.

I was brushing my hair when Monica came into my room.

"I'm here! I'm hungry!" she said while rubbing her stomach.

"Then get some food," I said boredly.

"Can you get it for me?" she asked while batting her eyelashes at me.

"Um.., you're the one that is hungry and not me," I said.

"Fine!" she stomped down to my kitchen.

By the time Monica came back, I was done brushing my hair and was on YouTube watching "the worst auditions ever."

We were in the middle of watching and laughing, when my stomach decided that it was hungry.

"Amma go get some food," I informed her and she was nodding not being able to to reply because of laughing so hard.

I went straight to the fridge deciding to eat ice cream, I took the whole pint of cookies 'n' cream.

"Fudge yeah," I said to myself.

The door bell rang and u went to go open it, still holding the ice cream while the spoon was still in my mouth.

To my surprise, it was Noah.

I squealed, took the spoon out of my mouth, and hugged him.

He chuckled and hugged me back too.

"I missed you so much!" I said an released him.

"I missed you too," he said while I was wiping tears that I didn't even know have.

"Stop crying," he said and I just chuckled.

" I brought presents for you!" He said.

"YAS!" I said.

"Let's go inside," I said. I opened the door for him and I stepped in as well. I was about to close the door, when a foot stopped it.

I opened the door and u saw the most gorgeous, sexy, God-like structured male in the whole universe.

I looked into his eyes and they were so beautiful. They were outlined with dark blue, and inside was gray with specks of green and hazel brown.

"Noah.., um.., who's this?" I asked stuttering.

The God like structure make seemed shocked and a bit of in his own world.

"Oh that's my special someone. He's my fiancé. What's your name babe?" Noah replied.

"Jared.., Jared Harris," he sort of stuttered.

Oh no! Why do u feel jealous and furious? I feel so attracted to him. I should be happy for Noah because he scored a hottie. Argh.. Stupid teenage hormones! Maybe this is just like a major crush.. That's why I'm attracted to him. Yeah.. That's it!

I put on a fake smile.

"Katelyn," I set my hand out for a hand shake.

"Nice to meet you, I've heard so much coming from your brother," he said and shakes my hand.

All of a sudden, shocks spread throughout my body.

I quickly pulled my hand to my side.

"Come in," I said. He came in and u closed the door.

"Kate.., Dad approved of us staying here. Isn't that great?" Noah said excitedly.
