Jared's POV
"Tell me what you think about her," Noah says embracing me.
Feeling awkward and trying to hide it, I took a step back and clear my throat.
Thinking of what to tell him.
"She's very...," I dragged.
"Very..... what?" he asked.
"Very..., I don't know... nice?" I said suggestively.
"Nice? That's all?" he asked insulted.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"Unbelievable. What happened to all the things I tell you about her huh? What happened to that?" he sighs.
"Um..., I don't remember?" I nervously chuckled.
"You just told her that you've heard so much about her from me!!!!" he stressed.
"Well..., what do you expect? I just say that. That's literally my line every time I introduce myself," I defended.
"LOL," he said and laughed.
I just laughed along with the thought of deciding whether I should tell him that she is my mate. We just got here. I don't want to ruin everything. I'm going to ruin everything anyways. But I don't want to lie to him. He deserves so much better.
"So, I'm going to talk to Kate. Finally, going to get her into the family secret," he says.
Nodding my head, I plan to eavesdrop on their conversation.
"Kate.. Can I talk to you?" Noah asks.
"Yeah sure, but Monica..." Katelyn says with her angelic voice.
"No, it's fine. I was going home anyways," Monica says.
As soon as Monica came downstairs and exited the house, that's when Noah proceeded.
"So, I'm going to tell you a secret. This is a family secret. So, don't freak out because everyone else is the same. You can't tell anyone, because the others that lives in this area don't know that 'it' exists," he says.
"Okay," she says warily.
"You're a werewolf. I'm a werewolf. Hell. Everyone in the family is a werewolf. Even Jared is," he says chuckling at the end.
Silence. That's all it is.
"Say something Katelyn," Noah says.
"I'm a werewolf?" she asks sounding like a kid.
"Yes you are," Noah says slowly.
All of a sudden, there was a thud.
"Katelyn! OMG! Wake up! Jared! Help me!" Noah shouts.
{AN : Sorry short chapter. I purposely made it short. I'm sorry for placing a cliffhanger on a freaking good ass part. I hate it when writers do that to. I know I'm a hypocrite. I'm just did this to observe something.}
