Jared Harris' POV

Life growing up, wasn't so smooth.

My father was the Alpha of the Tecahawa Pack, mom was the Luna, and I had a twin sister. We were just having an ordinary day, bonding with the pack, until rogues attacked us. Aaron was the leader of the rogues. My dad quickly got into action as well as the pack fighters. Analysing the situation, my dad said that Aaron had all the open routes blocked. What I didn't know, was that the pack house actually has an escape tunnel to town. Hurriedly, my mom started pushing my twin sister and I into the house. My mom forcing us into the tunnel, I was the first one in. Suddenly, rogues busted the door and came charging at us. My mom and sister was grabbed and my sister shut the door automatically locking itself. I tried so hard to open that door. Hearing the screams of my sister and mom, my mom continued to scream for me to leave. Being stubborn, I continuously tried to open that door. After a short period of time, the screaming was gone. And that's when it finally hit me that my mom and sister was dead- possibly even my dad. Vowing that I will one day make him pay for the deaths of my family and pack, I left towards the town.

Recovering from that traumatic period of my life wasn't easy.

I've spent a while in the streets after that. Hungry and lonely.

One night, a wolf hunter found me. I don't know why she didn't kill me. I mean, I was a wolf. It was her job to kill me. But, she saw something in me and decided to take me home and raise me. Me being a child still needing parental guidance, accepted it and also because she didn't seem like she would hurt me. Terese.. Terese was her name.

She taught me so many things. She taught me how to fight, to defend myself, lead me to using my supernatural abilities for the good, embracing my wolf, and taught me the things in life that I would later encounter.

She taught me how to find the things in life that I like to do that makes me happy and set goals to meet my future.I found out that I liked math. Y'all probably may whine and say 'why math?' Well, I just do.

Finishing school, I moved out of Terese's house not wanting to be a burden anymore. Although, she said that it wasn't a problem and kept insisting that I didn't have to move out.

I went around a lot of werewolf territories and challenged their alphas. I defeated all of them and now had the responsibility of taking care of thousands of werewolves.

I'm now 24 and still don't have a mate. I've been hoping that I would find my mate since the day Terese told me about mates.

One day, a rogue male trespassed my territory. He said that his name was Noah. He persuaded me that he isn't an evil rogue and has no intention to harm my pack. Deciding not to kill him, reluctantly, I made him work around the pack house in exchange as his punishment for trespassing. Me being a busy alpha, I didn't know that he was being constantly bullied and beaten by the other pack members. He told me the reason why he was being bullied- it was because he was gay and weak. He hasn't found his mate yet. I figured, since I didn't find my mate yet, why not go for him. I decided that I would from now on train him so that he can defend himself. As days passed, he learned how to fight and I learned to see the beauty in him. He just makes me forget about the problems that we have in the world and lifts them off my shoulders.

I didn't think that I will see the day come, but I think I'm gay for Noah. Yes, I swing that way.

-------- Present time with Noah in the taxi when they arrived in Noah's hometown---------

"Did you call your sister and tell her that we arrived?" I asked.

"Yeah I did," Noah said with an excited smile.
