I was sleeping as a soft British voice woke me up " Good morning m'lady" as Robin slips his arms around me. I turn around to my side facing him now as he kisses me on the head. "Good morning honey" I reply I love waking up to him everyday.
Robin was just about to say something but he was interrupted by the sounds of a 4 month old baby crying. We simultaneously turned on our back and sighed "I'll get her" I said "No how about I get her" we basically have this argument every morning over who's going to get the baby and it always ends with the same resolution "How about we both get her" I said smiling.
We both get out of the bed putting my red slippers on and walking to the corner of the room to the crib where our 4 month old daughter named Ashlyn lays crying. Once I pick her up she almost immediately stops crying " Good morning Ash did you sleep good" I said playfully. As Robin walks in from the bathroom Lilly comes running after him. "Daddy!" She yells, as she jumps on to his leg. "Oh my Lilly what did you do to your hair?" I say laughing a little "Oh Roland said he'd make me a beautiful princess so he fixed my hair for me! Do you like it mommy?!" She says with excitement in her voice. "Oh of course I do!" I say as we all start to laugh as we look at her just past the shoulder dark brown hair all tangled up.
"Where is you brother anyways?" Asks Robin. Now that he's older he's not as playful as he used to be. "He's watching Tv" says Lilly
"Of course he is" says Robin slightly annoyed. We all walk out of the bed room with me still holding Ash. Ahh just a typical Saturday morning in the Hood/Mills house. I think to my self smiling.
