Chapter 13

Zaira's P.O.V

I stared down at the book in my hands, going over the list of all the powers, but I can't concentrate after the events of last night, the events that's been haunting me the past 2 hours, we're currently taking a break from the practising, we've been practising for two hours straight and to say it went good isn't even a option, since Zack made a tree catch fire and then there was me, throwing one of the wolfs into a tree with my mind and that wasn't even my intentions. Mom has been really, irritated while all the other people are just watching us like we're a new series on TV. Luke tried to be a bit more supportive, but it felt more like he was giving me sympathy.

Zack was seated next to me running his hand through his hair, while reading with me, Mom was seated in the living room with dad and the rest of the people, Dad needs to go back, but mom needs to train us and unfortunately Luke has to go to and Drake since his parents needs them at home,while Grace us transferring to Zack's pack and Sam is transferring to our pack this afternoon, I will be transferring after all the training is done and then Mom will go back to Dad, it's quite complicated, but we'll  work everything out eventually.

We've got a few of the powers under control like the

Telekinesis and the element control, we can control water earth, fire and wind. After our break we're going to try and transform into our mermaids and then mom will see if we can breath under water and then we obviously need to see if we can control the water, under water.

"Zai, what if he attacks and we're not ready" I hear Zack ask from beside me making me lose my train of thought and stare at him, I sighed running a hand through my blonde hare before answering"I have no idea, we need to train hard so that we're ready and to make sure that vision never comes true" he nodded his head in response and got up from his seat at the island, I continued to examine the book, as I read throughbthe book, I heard glass being shattered at someone swearing, I whipped my head to see Zack bend down picking up pieces of glass from the floor, I slowly got up making sure not to step on any glass with my barefeet and started picking up some off the pieces just as everyone from the living room comes running into the room and when they saw us they all burst out laughing, but somehow I can't find this very funny, how can they find this funny when their supposed to be stressing, thinking of the war approaching, the war that they may die in, I stared into Zack's green eyes and saw he had the same expression as I, just a plain blank expression, when everyone saw our blank faces they stopped laughing and just stared that's a they did was stare with a bit of sympathy in their eyes. Luke slowly made his way towards me and engulfed me in a hug as if sensing my distress, Grace followed Luke's actions with Zack.

"Zai, everything will be fine, you have nothing to worry about"Luke tried reassuring me but I just nodding my head trying to convince him it worked, but he didn't release me he kept me safely in his big strong and warm arms, making me forget about everything for a split second, but it was soon gone when the thoughts came rushing through my head again and one thing kept reapeating in my head

That's all I was thinking that Richards coming, coming for me and Zack, coming to rule the world and coming to take all my loved ones away, to kill them all right infront of me and drain all my power just for his selfish needs.

"Zack, Zaira we need to go and train again"Mom's soft voice echoed through the kitchen, I slowly opened my eyes and nodded my head before standing up and walking over to her with Zack followed closely behind me. When we got outside we took our time to walk to the pool, talking about everything or more like my mom was talking we were just saying yes or nodded our head that's all.
