I walked into CVS to get Kelsey the pregnancy test. I wander around for awhile because I don't know where the pregnancy test are kept. When I finally reach them I don't even look at all of them I just grab a random one because I just want to go home and sleep. As I'm walking to the checkout I see the candy isle and decide to go grab a couple different types of candy. While I'm looking at all the different types of candy my phone buzzes. I take out my phone and saw a text from Kelsey.

Kelsey: Are you at CVS?

Brooke: yes so don't distract me so I can get the test and leave.

Kelsey: someone's in a bad mood.

Brooke: of course I am you made me leave my house.

I put my phone away not caring if she texts me back because I just want to leave. I quickly grab the candy I want and head to the check out. I see that there is three people in front of me so I sigh as I wait in line. I start staring off into space while I'm waiting and hear a voice pull me out of my day dream. "Can I help you?" A very deep voice asks polity. I look and see that the line moved and I walk up to the table:

"Yeah sorry I wasn't paying attention," I apologize.

"It's fine," he says.

I hand him the candy and the pregnancy test. "That'll be $21.89," he says after ringing everything up.

"Why is it so expensive?" I ask.

"The test was $15.79," he responds.

"$16 to find out if I'm pregnant?" I ask annoyed that it costs so much.

"Hey I don't make the prices," he holds his hands up defending himself. I sigh and hand him a 20 dollar bill and a five. Kelsey better pay me back.

When he's done ringing everything up he hands me my money and the bag. Our hands slightly touch each other's and I gasp as I feel something go off in my body l. It may sound cliché but I felt fireworks go off in my body. I quickly grab my tattoo when I feel it start throbbing. It felt like it was on fire. I looked up after the pain started to decrease and I saw him doing the same thing. "Luke?" I ask.

"It's you."

A/N: I'm so sorry for not updating in awhile I've been busy with school. But on happy news I have a Halsey concert in 3 days!!! Is anyone else going to the Columbus show? If you are message me I'd like to meet some of you guys.
