I wake up and turn off my phone blasting my alarm. I quickly put on my uniform for work and check the time: 7:05. I groan asking myself why I wake up so early when it only takes me a few minutes to get ready.

I grab a few bracelets and put them on my wrist. I look over at my other wrist that reads my soulmates name: Brooke. I wonder if I will ever meet her.

I got my tattoo a week ago and haven't met her yet. Some people meet their soulmate when they are walking out of the tattoo place. Sadly I wasn't one of them.

I turn on my phone and tap the Twitter app button. I quickly write: Ugh off to my day at CVS. I don't really know why I always put what I'm doing on Twitter. I guess I just like having people know what I'm doing during the day.

When I'm done I make myself some cereal and eat while scrolling through Twitter. I look at the time for the thousandth time today and see it's only 7:15. I don't need to be at work until 8.

I decide to go to work early so I put my dish in the sink and grab my car keys. I drive to CVS and when I get there it's not crowded, obviously.

I walk inside and tell the person who I'm switching shifts with can go home early and I'll cover for them. They thank me and leave. I stand behind the cash register and wait for people to come.

Everyone once in a while I hear the door ring indicating someone came inside. Every time I look up to see who it is. I mentally pray that it's one of my friends coming to say hi, but sadly they never do that.

While I am sitting staring off into space I hear the door go off. Like every other time I look up. This time I took a double take. The girl who just walked in is beautiful. I stared at her until someone came up to the register. I quickly ring up the persons stuff and as I'm doing that a small line forms. When I look up to tell the next customer to move up I see the beautiful girl staring off into space.

"Can I help you?" I ask her.

She looks over at me and says, " Yeah sorry I wasn't paying attention."

"It's fine," I say. She hands me some candy and a pregnancy test. Oh I guess no flirting.

"That'll be $21.89." I say.

"Why is it so expensive?" She asks annoyed.

"The test was $15.79," I say.

"$16 to find out if I'm pregnant?" She asks annoyed, again.

"Hey I told control the prices," I saw holding my hands up in surrender.

She lets out a sigh and hands me a 20 and a 5. I quickly finish everything up and hand her her money and bag. When I hand her her bag our hands slightly touch. This may sound cliché but when our hands touched my body had fireworks going off inside it. I feel my wrist start to burn and I quickly grab it. I look up and see her doing the same thing.

"Luke?" She asks me.

"It's you."
