Summer Time

Roe's POV:
I walk out of the dreadful school ready to start summer. It was such a nice day outside that I had decided to walk home instead of taking the dirty smelly bus. My best friend Amber decided to join me, since we were going to a bonfire tonight already.
"Ok didn't Mr. V look so hot today??" Asked Amber. I just rolled my eyes and pretended to act like the girls at our school that couldn't keep their eyes off him. They are such sluts. Pulling down their tanks to show some cleavage. Not that amber is one of them! She admires for afar.
"Yeah but isn't he already dating that teacher Ms. Holland?"
"Yeah....but they are cute together! I bet he's gonna propose soon!"
"He better! Or else the students are gonna be attacking him and he's gonna be screaming rape!" We both couldn't contain our giggles and full on laughed like little 4 year olds. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to my house from the school, but walking with Amber makes it go faster. As soon as we turn a corner a car pulls up to us, and rolls down the window. It's ambers older brother Andy. And damn did he look hot. Not that I liked him that way, but Amber and I always agreed that he was very handsome, and super muscular.
"Hey girlys, want a ride home?"
"We're going to Roes house, mind dropping us off." Andy just looked up to and grinned.
"Sure hop in!" Amber got in the the back with me, and we buckled our seat belts.
"Ya'll ready?" His country accent is probably the worst I've ever heard. He turned around to look at us. "Yup!!!" Amber and I chirped.
"Alright let's go." As he spun back around I could have sworn I saw him wink at me. I must be seeing things. 2 minutes later we arrived at my house.
"Thanks Andy!" I said with a huge smile. As we walked up to my house I had remembered that I left my key in his car. I ran down the driveway to his car and knocked on the window.
"Hey unlock the back door I left my key on the seat." He nodded and unlocked the car.
"Thanks Andy!" I chirped again. Before I got out he grabbed my wrist lightly to get my attention.
"Hey do you guys need a ride back to our house from the bonfire?" I nodded my head and smiled.
"That would great thanks." He smiled and I got out of the car. I unlocked the door and waved to Andy so he knew that we were all good and he could leave.
"Amber, Andy is gonna give us a ride back to your place after the bond fire."
"Okeeday!" Amber said while going through my food, like a savage. I rolled my eyes and went into the T.V room and turned on Zoey 101. Man I love this show! Too bad it's older and there aren't any new episodes. Sigh.
"So.....you and Andy huh???" Said amber moving her eye brows. I basically choked on my own spit at what she had said.
"WHAT??? No way! He's like 26!!!" Amber was still smiling, like a child who got a puppy for Christmas.
"Actually he's only 21." She winked at me.
"Oh and that makes it sooooo much better."
"Sarcasm noted. But seriously I saw how he looked at you! Don't get any ideas though...he is my brother!" I rolled my eyes once again and her craziness. Me and Andy? Never!
"Three words! Never. Gonna. Happen." She just scoffed and ate a handful of popcorn.

My good friend Kris who was hosting the bonfire only lived a block away. So it was like a 10 minute walk, which wasn't much. The fire was ginormous and we we're all roasting marshmallows and eating s'mores. Kris was one of my best male friends, and we almost started dating. But thought it would be too weird. Well he thought that first, I had a crush on him, but it's over now. There we're about 5 guys and 5 girls at the bonfire including me. We were all friends, except I didn't know some of the guys very well. But some were cute. Andrew had brought his guitar to play, and everyone immediately begged me to sing. I was a singer and performer like Andrew. But I wasn't amazing in my opinion; however to everyone else I was like a goddess when it came to singing. Andrew and I sang together and everyone clapped and applauded. As I blushed and Andrew just laughed. I loved these nights where we don't have to worry, where we could just be normal teenagers and not have a care in the world. The bonfire only lasted till 10:30 and then everyone got picked up. Andy had picked us up and we were on our way back to Ambers house. Andy had finished college a year early so he has just gotten out this year. And didn't have a place of his own yet. Amber and I immediately claimed the basement for our sleep over spot, before Andy could come down and take over. Amber and I looked through all the pictures and snapchats people took and we took at the bonfire. It was so much fun, I can't wait for the next one. We decided to watch 'The Lego Movie' since it was free on Netflix. Amber was horrible with movie nights though, she would fall asleep right before the ending, and that's exactly what happened. Goodness I'm so lucky to have her.
