Nothing else happened as they followed Rezine and in no time they were there, smack dab in front of the entrance of the Zypher Bloodline Food Yard. The place was nice, with fields of different crops for miles and a quaint little house puffing up smoke from a chimney.
They followed Rezine as he entered the house. "Grams?"
"Ah, Rezine!" A voice exclaimed happily before an old woman came into view, holding a plate with meat which Alala couldn't help eyeing. The old woman, or Rezine's grandmother seemed to notice, but kept quiet, putting it on the table and flashing a smile in her direction. "And who are these two? Are they friends of yours? Well, I suppose you know I'm Rezine's grandmother, but please call me Granny Vetry or Grams, whichever suits your fancy."
Frezi was the first to speak since Alala had been taken in by a meat daydream wherein she had gorged herself on the meat at the table. "We aren't friends yet, but maybe in the future. My name is Frezi, heir to the third commander's position and I am of the Zypher bloodline as well."
"Ah, a fellow Zypher!" Granny Vetry happily exclaimed. "It is always good to see others of our bloodline, regardless if you are closely related to us or not."
"And it is good to see you as well." Was what Frezi got out before Granny Vetry realized that Alala was there.
Granny Vetry then, turned to her, eyes full of curiosity. "How about you?"
Snapped out of her meat filled daydreams, she spoke. "Ah, I'm Alala of the Xythan bloodline, heir to the supreme commander."
"Oho, so Rezine brought his future best friends, I see." Before anyone could interrupt her, she continued."Come along then, sit down and eat." Without waiting for further urging from the old woman Alala rushed to take a seat, the others following behind her.
Once done, they said their farewells and thanks to Granny Vetry, making their way back to the castle with occasional pause because of Frezi.
"You know I've never met a woman like you and I've known a lot of women-" Frezi began once again before Rezine pulled him away.
"Yes, yes, let it never be said that Frezi of the Zypher bloodline is woman-shy." Rezine spoke, pulling Frezi toward the castle entrance.
Once they were all there, a silence ate the spaces between them before Alala's laugh of relief broke it first. "Well, I'm glad, I thought I'd have to deal with an arrogant ass among my commanders."
Frezi snorts before opening his mouth to speak. "That's foolish, we're to be commanders, we cannot afford to be arrogant or it could mean our death, or worse, our soldiers' deaths. "
"Well, whatever reason you guys have to not be arrogant, I like it this way. No arrogant asses to have to deal with." Glancing up at the sky, she saw that it was still mid-afternoon. "Well, I'll be going now, bye guys!" Waving to both of them she had remembered that right outside her window in her room she had seem a river with a boulder perfect for her to perch on and so, on she went looking for that spot only to find a man with brown hair that was flashing red under the sun. The closer she came though, the more details she saw, until she realized her brother was on said perch.
Silence reigned for only a moment on the little boulder before, in a playful tone, Alala asked him a question. "What do you want to be, dear brother o'mine?" She supposed the question might seem a bit random, but she was curious,if he didn't want to be the supreme commander's heir, then what did he want to be? Would he, she gave a pause to think, perhaps be a-
