Soda pop and cigarettes
You're life's just a gambling bet
Do you think you can survive without all the cards?
Those cigarettes are like doing drugs
Once you smoke, you can't get enough
Once you go there, you can't come back
Oh, oh look what you're doing to me
Oh, oh, look what you're doing to you
You say you want what's best for me
Well that might be true
But if you really think that
You'd stop smoking too
Slippers and that damned robe
You never get dressed anymore
Grey hair and ponytail days
Have came and gone,
But now they're here to stay
And you'd think you'd stop after
One or two
But you do it all damn day
Is there anything else to do?
Oh, oh look what you're doing to me
Oh, oh, look what you're doing to you
You say you want what's best for me
Well that might be true
But if you really think that
You'd stop smoking too
I'm done smelling like that shit
If you really loved everyone,
You'd have quit
A long time ago
Oh, no!
Oh, oh look what you're doing to me
Oh, oh, look what you're doing to you
You say you want what's best for me
Well that might be true
But if you really think that
You'd stop smoking too
Oh, oh look what you're doing to me
Oh, oh, look what you're doing to you
You say you want what's best for me
Well that might be true
But if you really think that
You'd stop smoking too
You may as well give up your life
Because of soda pop and cigarettes
You're lucky to be alive
