A/N: Last year, the world lost one of the most beautiful girls. Her name was Maddie and she died of leukemia. I've tried to write something about her before, but I could never find words that could do her justice. How better to put it though than through the eyes of her best friend? This is not through my eyes, but through the eyes of someone who knew her extremely well; knew her better than I did.
Raw pain and love are felt all at once
We cried all night, praying it was a ruse
I never got to tell you what my heart wanted all along
I love you. I've loved you all along
After all this time, how could you leave me alone?
How could you be forced to? Why'd you have to go?
My security is gone, my trust ripped into shreds
Because you had to go and get taken from my two hands
Do you know how enchanted I was to know you?
Turned my skies gold and silver instead of plain old blue
We both made a sensational team
Yet now you'll never know how much you'll always mean to me
The last thing that to you I've ever said,
I will always regret it
I never got to tell you what my heart wanted all along
I love you. I've loved you all along.
