Chapter 06: The Special One

"Crunch" we all turn around.

Oh great I think to myself.

Turns out it was just a crab eating another crab, which was now coming to us.

"SWIM UP!" Esmae yells. I grab Ivery and continue swimming to the surface.

"Where are we?" I ask as we reached the surface with the sun reflecting off it.

"We are about fifteen minutes from your house Avril, and if we go north at 20 km per hour we will be there just before dawn." Esmae says like she is an expert at mathematics.

She is.

Just be quiet brain!

"What?" Clover says confused. "Nevermind" Esmae says. We head north to my house.

"Dinners ready!" Mum yells from the kitchen. I open my door and the smell of chicken Kiev hits my nose. Yum! "Smells good!" I say as I walk onto the porch and sitting in my chair.

Zac and Jessica join us soon after. We ate dinner in silence listening to the sound of the waves hitting the beach.

I get in the shower after dinner and wash my hair. After I got out I dried my self before putting on a my pj's with puppy's and paw prints on them.

I head into my bedroom and pull out my phone to check my Instagram feed. "Nothing, nothing, nothing." I mumble to myself as I scroll through my feed. The usual, you all agree right?

I plug my phone into its charger and play a song.

I hear We R Who We Are by Ke$ha playing faintly in the background as I drift to sleep.

"Where's Esmae?" Clover leans whispering into my ear. "I don't know she wasn't here this morning when I arrived." I reply.

The teacher lifts his head up to check if everyone was doing there work and Clover and I quickly put our heads down getting back to work.

'SMACK' everyone jumps up from the loud noise and I turn my head to where the noise was coming from. "ES!" I exclaim before getting out of my chair, knocking it over in the process and ran to the door.

"Es can you hear me! Es!" I say in panic mode. I got no reply. "She looks unconscious." Rebecca said from behind me. "I have my only choice to save my friend. "Grab me a straw." I say to Rebecca and she jogs to the fridge grabbing the straw from her chocolate milk popper. She hands it to me I started to do CPR. Yes, on a sugar glider.

"Hey Avr-" I turn my head and see Braydon. Shoot! The most embarrassing time to! I wave and smile awkwardly as I watch him walk down the hall.

After a couple of minutes of horror she finally woke up. "ES your alive!" I pick up her tiny figure and hug her carefully.

"Damn that glass door! I didn't even see it! I could have died! I absolutely hate that door! I'm gonna sue the school!" Esmae starts raging. "Not even a thank you." I mumble quietly so that just Rebecca could hear. She let out a small laugh.

"I'll thank you later right now I'm off to sue the school!" She says before getting up and heading the opposite direction.

"Wait! You can't go like that!" Rebecca exclaims and Esmae looks at her body. "Ahh fudge." She growls before staring at me.

"What I didn't do anything!" I say flailing my hands in the air.

"You where the one to make us into animals." She glares at me while pointing at me, and did I mention speaking in a deep and scary voice?

"Okay yes it may have been my idea but hey you guys agreed!" I say getting a bit annoyed with her usual attitude.

"Fine just let me change!" She walked over to me and touched my leg. "Wha- what the it's not working!" Esmae panics. "It's okay Es calm down we'll just go home and read the book.

"Do you think I want to stay like this for another 30 minutes?!" She hisses.

"Uhh no..." I try my best to sound as casual as possible.

Sitting in the car, driving with a sugar glider running around like crazy in the back. Thank god I am used to craziness! I don't know how I haven't crashed yet. "Esmae! For crying out loud would you just calm down!" Ivery screams loud enough to make me jump and swerve right past a light pole. I come to a halt.

"Oh My God!" Everyone looks at me either with a 'sorry face' or a 'what is it face'

"What?" Clover whispers.

My hand slowly rises pointing to a gorgeous, muscular guy running down the beach with his surf board. My mouth gapes open. "What the hell! He cant see me like this!" Esmae screams causing her to pop into panic mode. "Later losers!" I hide my car keys and jump out of the car throwing away my pants and top. Yes I wear a bikini under my shirt for occasions like this. "Oh hell no!" Screams Rebecca attempting to chase after me. I dive into the water after this sexy beast with and ugly beast right behind me. "Bec! Don't do it! Leave him he is mine!"

I try to impress him every time he looks but im either being pulled back by Rebecca or choking on the waves. He surfs right past us and jumps off.

"Well aren't you to gorgeous?" He grins showing his amazing teeth. Becca and I both giggle.

He pulls us in closer to land. Both Bec and I holding his muscular arms. I almost dribbled all over him but luckily I stopped it. We sit at the waters edge.

"So whats are your names hotties?" He grins making me want to melt like an ice-cream

"Becca and I am Avril!" I blurt out before Bec had the chance to say something. He starts checking me out, ignoring Bec who is in her jeans and swimming top. I blush.

He turns his attention from me to Bec but something else caught his eye. We all looked up on the cliff and see Esmae walking like a model, hair blowing in the sea breeze with her absolutely most stunning bikini. Black and frilly. Dammit its better than mine! Bec grabs his chin turning the attention to her but mysterious hot guy turns the attention back to Esmae. Oh no she didnt!

Esmae gracefully dives into the ocean and makes her way over to us. Ignoring Esmae's hot entrance I ask "So whats your name?"

"Andrew and I'm just for you." Pointing to Esmae. He gets up and offers Es a hand to get up. "Why thank you majesty" she giggles before walking down the beach leaving Bec and I stunned at what the hell just happened. We go for a swim but thats when I felt it.

We were transforming!

The quick painful tingling sensation burns my chest a little and before you knew it, I was a dolphin."dammit!" I called to Bec the turtle. She swims fast to catch up to me. I glide through the water, catching up to Andrew and Esmae. As I reach them I do a flip making Andrew gasp and... well we all knew what Es was thinking. 'Stay the hell away from my man' Rebecca swam on land right next to Andrew causing him to scream. "Pssst Es help me'' Rebacca says to Es.

"Andrew close your eyes and turn around. Don't nt ask why just do it if you love me." With that he slowly turns around not being able to see what was happening. Bec and I turned back into human form and ran back to the car. "Ayo ladies and gentlemen!" (Reference from @cherryblossompanda )Yells Bec. "Get in the car!" I instruct them to do so. I grab the car keys, put them into the ignition and twisted them. The car speed off. "I DIDN'T PUT THE HANDBRAKE ON!" I scream, not long after that the others started screaming. We were heading straight for a cliff. I tried to brake but it was useless! I tried everything, turning the car off- failed, putting the handbrake on- failed, braking- failed. I screamed at the top of my lungs scrambling to stop the car.

The car came to a sudden stop sending us flying, yet still staying in the car. We we're on the edge of a freaking cliff! I guess you could say we're living on the edge.
