Be the Karkat waking up for work the following Monday:

I rubbed my eyes and heard my phone going off with notifications.
I looked, seeing only text messages from Dave.

Hey, sorry about not texting you or anything over the weekend.

My brother got better, and he told me I shouldn't stay in The hospital with him for so long.

Plus the food there sucks.

I'm going to work, but maybe tonight if you're not busy~

We can go out on that date? ;)

I internally squealed, letting my cheeks get covered in blush.

Wait, internally squealing? What the fuck, NO. I don't like him, it's just for work. Just. For. Work. Just. For. Work.

I replied:

SURE, ID LOVE TO GO OUT TONIGHT. WHEN?

Wow, you reply quick.

I was thinking around 8? My apartment.

I promise it's clean still.

I sighed, a smile appearing on my face.
I quickly walked to my closet, getting my clothes for the day.

I could hear Sollux singing in the shower.

"IIF II WA2 YOUR MATE2PRIIT! IID NEVER LET YOU GO! YEAH II GET THE BIITCHE2~ HIIGHE2T BLOOD TWO LOW!" He practically screamed.

I laughed and slammed my fist against the wall.
"Keep it down in there, Captor!"

"2hut up KK! II wa2 gettiing my groove on!" He yelled back.

I finished getting my clothes on waiting for Sollux to get out of the shower so I could get myself ready.

As soon as he got out, I went in.

I drove us to work, getting called to Kanayas office immediately as I walked into the building.

This can't be good..

I walked my way into her office, seeing her doing paperwork as usual.

"You wanted to speak to me?"

"Ah Karkat, Please Take A Seat.."

I did so.

"A Little Bird Told Me That You're Already Speaking To Someone From Sburb. Is That Correct?" She looked at me in the eyes.

"Uh yeah.. We met on Friday night.. We've been talking.."

"Any Information?"

"Uh.. One employees sibling is in the hospital.. So maybe that can be a distraction to that employee?"

"Any Useful Information Yet?" She spoke louder.

"No.. But I'll be sure to keep you posted about anything.." I smiled.
