8: Into The 'Principles' Office

We've been seeing each other for a month.. But we aren't together as in 'matesprits' or 'boyfriends'.

In all honestly, I've been actually enjoying it.
The routine was movies, ice cream, pillow forts and small kisses.

I know it's wrong, and that I'm suppose to be getting information from him..
But..
I don't want to anymore..

He's a really nice guy after getting past all of his annoying shit.
Not to mention that he's hot, for a human..

I don't know if I can keep up the mission of getting information out of him. I've never even once brought up work.. I can't..

Maybe I can try another worker or something?

Ugh, I can't.. Dave's the easiest person to get information from.
I've logged onto his computer every time I made him go out to get ice cream.
There hasn't been a single thing about Sburb yet in that computer other than that empty document titled V_Info_4_Rose.

I know Miss Lalonde, which is this 'Rose', works for Sburb, but I don't know what position she is. I have to look into it some more.

I think Kanaya has noticed my lack of interest in work lately..

I've been showing up late, due to spending the night at Daves apartment..
I've been late on turning in work, due to texting Dave during work.
I've been avoiding Sollux, due to Dave.

And the list can go on and on..

I don't like Dave in a romantic way, but I like being around him..

Okay yeah, way to lie Vantas.

Okay, I MAY like Dave in that way..

Who gives a shit? Is it really bad if I start dating a Sburb employee? What the fuck is that going to do for our business?
Nothing!!

Plus Dave still has no idea I even work for Sgrub so it even shouldn't be that big of a deal..

I was laying in his bed, snuggled up against him as I thought over and over again about the consequences.
I buried my face into his chest, sighing quietly.
It was already 8 am, and I have to be at work by 9.

He slowly woke up, but didn't open his eyes. He reached over, grabbing his shades from the nightstand. He puts them on and looks to me.
"Hey cutie."

I flush and smile, snuggling into him more. "Hi.." I mumble.

If he were shirtless right now, I'd probably be a mess with my blush.

He brought me closer, kissing the top of my head. "Ugh.. I don't wanna go to work.."

"Me either.." I sigh, closing my eyes and enjoying his body warmth.

"Mostly because I have to walk." He whines. "I hate walking."

"I know. You're a lazy asshole." I grin.
He nods in agreement. "I can take you to work? I have a car Y'know.." I offer.

He smiles. "Thanks Kitten." He pecks my lips. That damn pet name always gets my stomach tied in knots.

"No problem. Now, get ready Asshat." I push his face away, laughing. I get up from the bed, getting my clothes for the day.
Thank god I brought clothes over this time..
