Hello my dear children ( i dont know what to call yall other than zutarians but that ain't original XD) it has been a long time since i posted an actual chapter and i apologize for the wait. Its currently 2:40am 1-27-16 ( im giving you guys the date so yall know how long it takes me to write a chapter) and i have a volleyball game tomorrow and a test about a story of a cat that i totally forgot everything about . i hate spanish -o- (coming from a Mexican) Anyways im really thinking for ideas for this story and i got many but... They arent involved in the plot. Like why would i make Zuko depressed all of a sudden after being really happy with Katara ( got that idea at 3 am listening to stressed out by twenty one pilots and getting feels) and him being an alcoholic (again, feels.) Well that is that I'll probably write a whole story about Zuko and never post it. Back to this story, I'm so happy how far its gone and it making me feel guilty for not updating in a long time. I hope you guys enjoy this chapter because it took me hours of thinking about it.

It's February 8 12:52 am and I have a volleyball game tomorrow and test. I don't really have an idea on how to continue how I left off and I'm not really feeling myself lately. I feel depressed ( Not my first time being depressed ) and all my ideas are dark and sad. I actually made a small one-shot about Zuko being depressed and an alcoholic after Katara was killed. Trying to get inspired by listening to music but it just making me want to draw.

Sokka and Aang were smudged with dirt and clothing burned slightly from their previous battle with Zuko and his crew. Aang suddenly started coughing hard and was grasping his chest to try to stop the pain but it made no affect. Sokka rushed to his side but Aang waved him off leaning on a tree for support. "Don't Sokka, im getting sick. I dont want to contaminate you too." Sokka sighed and slowly steped back waiting for Aang to regain his posture and start moving forward so he can follow. "If there's a village nearby we're stopping, you need medicine." Aang tried to protest but Sokka quickly shut him up. "That cough sounded nasty Aang, I can't have you waltzing around, coughing and spreading the sickness around to those who help us." Aang sighed and nodded his head then looked down to the dirt trail of fallen branches and leaves that will hopefully lead them out of the forest. "Im tired of the color green. For weeks all we've seen were tress, grass, the occasional lakes and rivers and small rabbits." Sokka groaned. Aang coughed again but a bit of blood came out of his lips, sliding down to his chin. He looked up and saw Sokka looking at him worriedly. Suddenly Aang saw spots and then nothing. Sokka ran to catch his falling friend from hitting a rock that was behind him and luckily reached his in time. He pulled him down and hit his cheek a couple times and yelled out his name. Sokka looked up and the surrounding area but saw nothing, just trees, grass, and the river they used to washen up. He wondered if there was a village nearby so that he could get Aang checked out. Both boys were almost unrecognizable, their faces had cuts and some bruises around the chin and cheek. Sokka went to the river and grabbed some water between his two hands and splashed his face, seeing the water run down a mixed color of black and brown. He did the same for Aang and grabbed a cloth from his pack and removed any remaning water from both their faces. He sighed and looked at the setting sun, giving the camp a sort of glow that made the area look beautiful. "Man if Katara was here she would probably be talking non-stop how gorgeous this place looks." A single tear slipped down his cheek and he sighed shakily.

Zuko looked up at the steel roof of his room while laying in bed, thinking about how things have been and changed ever since Katara came aboard. First thing was his attitude. He hasn't yelled at his crew in a long time and he is sure his crew isn't complaining. Second thing was his personality. He was becoming very soft and his facial expression shows it very easily. Third thing was that his uncle was being more secretive than normal. Of course he has ideas why, many including his change of heart because of katara. Last thing was that everyone was getting emotionally attached to katara. His crew are starting to see her as their sister and the older crew members as their on daughter and protect her when a harm comes towards her way. Katara has really changed things around this ship with her own presence on board. A knock suddenly went through the room. "Who is it" he asked a bit annoyed at the person who disturbed his thoughts. "It's me Zuko" Katara said gently from the other side. Zuko sat up fairly quickly from him bed and answered a "come in". The door opened slowly and with it came a loud squeaking noise of metal slidding against metal. There stood Katara looking at him shyly with her hands in front of her and frame slightly moving side to side as if she were nervous in a way. "What's wrong" asked the prince. "Nothing, I was just wondering if we're still.... Okay after the... Um incident earlier today." She was blushing and grabbing her dress nervously. Zuko eyes widened and a blush was slowly growing. "Um yeah, we are still okay after that." Katara sighed in relief and looked at Zuko with a bright smile. " Okay I just wanted to be sure!" She walked into the room and layed on Zuko's bed next to him. Zuko looked at her weirdly with a raised eyebrow and turned his head back up, looking once again at the ceiling. Katara bit her lip and scooted closer to Zuko. They layed in silence. They layed until they both fell asleep in the warmth and company of each other.
