Zuko woke up to a mess of chocolate hair in his face. He looked down and saw Katara's face sleeping peacefully. He smiled and he watched her rest. 'poor girl, only 14 and has lived through so much' Zuko let go of Katara's waist to stand up. Once he got off the bed he headed to the bathroom to wash up. He placed his hands on either side of the sink and looked up at the mirror. His red scar grabbing his attention the most. 'Pain will be your teacher' his fathers voice haunted him. He turned his head away and went to the tub. He twisted the nob so the water will run. Once the tub was filled he slipped out of his clothing and sat down in the tub. He sighed as steam surrounded him, laying back until his head hit the wall behind him. Zuko closed his eyes. " what does she see in me?" He mumbled to himself."I'm just a guy with a ugly scar marking my face, what is so beautiful about me for Katara to like me?" He pulled his knees closed to his chest. "She is a strange girl. Unlike any onther."
