(Narrative)

"Mr Baek!"

A name called out to him, it was a director of Jusandong University hospital. He was old and husky. His grey mane was swept back in a neat comb which matched his silver bushy eyebrows. Baek Chang Ju hesitantly dragged Ji Hyo forward as they both bow in respect. After Chang Ju's right hand reunited with his left they both gave a warm handshake. Then the glass door swift open, it was a lady in her late 20's. She had smooth honey brown hair and polished white skin, her gold sequined dress reflected against the lights from the lit chandeliers like a disco ball.

"annyeonghaseyo! I am Park Hae won" She smiled as she firmly shook his hand and Ji Hyo's hands.

"You're very pretty and she is?" Hae Won curiously asked as her eyes shot back at Chang Ju and released her hands from Ji Hyo's.

Chang Ju cleared his throat as he humbly pulled her waist closer to him as he boasted "She is my girlfriend: the famous Song Ji Hyo!"

"Oppa! I knew that! I just wanted to hear it from her!" she chuckled as she playfully nudged his shoulders with her slender arms.

Ji Hyo felt self-conscious about her presence and the way she was light heartedly comfortable with him. The director gently patted her back as he said "Ah yes she is a professional surgeon at my hospital and my eldest daughter."

As they all went inside, on a table of four - Ji Hyo sat beside her boyfriend and opposite him was Park Hae Won followed by her father who sat opposite Ji Hyo. As they chatted, Hae Won's mischievous eyes stared into his as she kicked him underneath the table. On the other hand Ji Hyo took little bites and kept prodding at the steak with her fork and gulped masses amount of water.

Ji Hyo's POV

Here I am once again, stuck in this high classed restaurant as I stabbed my dry steak out of boredom. Baek Chang Ju oppa talked and talked, I noticed that Hae Won tried to seduce and flirt with my boyfriend but I guessed he was more focused on how he was going to come up with business activities in the future and collaborating with the director in some charity event. My eyes took a short glimpse out of the window and I happened to see Gary outside his restaurant – smoking. I let out a small giggle as I remembered the times that I used to tell him off for doing that because we both knew very well how bad it was, but he is one hell of a stubborn kid. My, my... Who am I to tell him now? He's old enough to make his own decisions and he is never going to take my advice anyway.

Regardless of what he has become, he never failed to make me smile. The way we connected with each other in today's episode was really fun! It felt like a flashback of what we were before and I'm still jealous of his past relationship with Oh Jin Hee: well because she took my bestfriend away from me; I was the one that cared and tried to help but in the end I got in the way. Ever since I went out with Baek Chang Ju, it felt like he didn't care if I had a boyfriend or not. It felt like he didn't care about me at all and for him to play as my "Monday boyfriend" was all a lie and I knew it was a lie – I just kept falling for that joke that it hurts. I just didn't want him to fool me anymore and make me regret my own relationship with Baek Chang Ju oppa.

I stood up and my shoes tapped towards the toilets. I pushed the door open and splashed my face with the bitterness of icy cold water. I then thickly applied my rich red lipstick and pout. All of a sudden, the door slammed as Hae Won entered and passed by. She walked towards the sink as she rinsed her fingers. She didn't notice me, judging by her monotone expression.
