My Guardian Angel: Monday Couple Fanfiction

Chapter 1

Gary's POV

"Annnd CUT!" PD Jo clapped and I snapped out of my thoughts. We just filmed a Running man episode.

As I was about to leave the set, I felt a subtle tap on my shoulder and turned to see that it was Haha. "Ah Gary, are you free tonight? Let's eat out with the others in my restaurant, it's my treat" He asked.

With my apologetic face I nodded sideways and refused. I don't usually turn down invitations but I have so much in my head that I wasn't able to focus and the song that I was supposed to come up with is due in soon – I have to get cracking. I waved him goodbye and departed from the filming site.

(Narrative)

Running man members: Haha, Kim Jong Kook, Lee Kwang Soo, Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin and Song Ji Hyo visited to dine in the restaurant: Loco Quan 401 – Haha's restaurant in Hongdae. The members sat in their seats and ordered their food. Whilst they wait for their dishes to be prepared, silence has been casted upon them. It was until Ji Hyo broke the silence.

"I'll excuse myself for a moment. Kwang Soo and Oppas: I need to go to the toilet." She stated in a confident but polite manner as she left her seat and made her way to the toilets. Everyone fixed their gaze at her classy black stilettos as they wait for her to leave. Until then, they all start discussing and investigating amongst themselves.

"Hyung, don't you think Gary-shii is acting weird recently? He wasn't able to concentrate anything at all when we filmed today's episode." Kwang Soo pointed out in concern.

"I know right?! Even after the filming I asked him to join with us. Whenever he declines he would at least tell me why, but today he just nodded and left. Hyunnng is he angry at us?" Haha complained as he repeatedly slapped Jong Kook's shoulder.

"Yahhh it can't be because of Ji Hyo's relationship with her CEO, right?" Suk Jin muttered as he pointed his fingers towards the members. They all looked at each other and back at Suk Jin.

"He could be right. It has been a while since they've dated and during the last two months, the Monday couple kept avoiding each other; and whenever they counteract with each other the atmosphere felt so awkward." Jae Suk added and everyone nodded amongst themselves.

Suddenly Ji Hyo walked her way back to the table and everyone panicked as they tried their best to sit still but Kwang Soo and Haha fidgeted and slapped each other as if they were kids playing games.

"Seriously whats up with you two!?" Jong Kook yelled as he separated his dongsaengs apart, Ji Hyo laughed without any suspicion.

They all spent their night with laughter and joy. Kwang Soo and Haha would usually cause trouble with their petty arguments whilst Kim Jong Kook break their fights up, in a way how a strict mother would do. 

Meanwhile Gary was at home in his own personal studio; in dim lighting and a spacious atmosphere. A bin that was overfilled with scrunched up paper balls and loose paper that flew across the room. His lean fingers pressed hard against his ballpoint pen as he scratched off every mistake he has made.

Gary's POV

I'm so stressed. I couldn't think properly or take part in the activities in running man without having a dazed mind. Gil won't even be at home until noon. Luckily, I got home as soon as he was about to head out, otherwise I wouldn't have breakfast. He told me that there was food in the fridge. Gil makes gourmet style breakfasts that I couldn't even keep up with his level. Yeah I make food, I have my own restaurant but I'm far too tired to even cook due to the workload.
