(Narrative)

Ji Hyo's manager sighed in pity as Ji Hyo ate bits of her toast little by little due to her appetite that was slowly dying.

"I guess this is about your boyfriend, what he did now?" she interrogated as if she knew the situation between Song Ji Hyo and Baek Chang Ju.

"I guess that was obvious" she moaned sarcastically; she gulped a shot of water and slammed her glass hard on the table but not hard enough to break it into fragments.

"Yeah. It is that obvious." Her manager mimicked her sense of sarcasm – emphasizing the term "that".

"Unnie, he won't let me have my own freedom or have my time alone or go with friends. It's always him and his colleges." She cried and lifted her gloomy shoulders off the table.

"Ji Hyo when was the last time that you talked to him?" her manager asked whilst she kept her eyes locked on her gloomy face.

Ji Hyo tried to explain and answer her question "Yesterday just before I left the office –"

But she was interrupted by her manager's words, "Aniyo, as in privately between you two..."

The words escaped from her manager's mouth and the question that she had asked shushed Ji Hyo. With her dumbfounded expression, her lips did not cast a single word and the awkward silence filled the vastness of the kitchen.

"That's what you need to do." Her manager majestically stated and continued her explanation
"You need to let him know how you feel and the boundaries in the relationship is making you  uncomfortable – he needs to give you time to breathe."

Ji Hyo smiled at her manager's advice and stood upright in confidence.
"You're right! It has been a while since we've talked. Thanks unnie." She faintly smiled as she clasped her grip on the empty plates towards the sink to wash them up.

"You are always welcome to talk to me Ji Hyo. Aigoo I really wanna spend a day with you but I have paper work business to talk about with your boyfriend." She apologized as she wrapped her black signature clutch over her shoulders and set foot out of Ji Hyo's apartment; her words tread on as she suggested "Ji Hyo I know you have a day off so use this time to call over some friends and have a girly time? It's about time you rest!"

"Arrasso unnie, go now! Don't worry about me I feel better now." She giggled - she scrubbed the stained plates with her sponge in circular motions as she washed them one by one.

"Of course I'm worried; you've been stressed for the past two months! I'm going now!" Her manager waved Ji Hyo goodbye and shut the front door of her apartment.

Ji Hyo's POV

I sighed in relief. I knew I could talk to her about my problems; I admired her for 10 years ever since I first debuted as an actress. One day I will repay back her kindness but first I need to take things off my mind like she had suggested. That's when I concluded to the point that I've decided to spend some time with my bestfriend: Yoon Eun Hye. I snatched my phone up and pressed the numbers on my keypad as I dialled her number.

"Yeobseo? Ah Unnie!"

The echo of her sweet voice travelled out of my speakers. I asked excitedly "Eun Hye! I missed you, are you free at the moment? I'm home alone."

"Hahaha served you right! I'm joking, I would be free but I'm with Soya at the moment and we just placed our cookies in the oven. Would you mind if I brought her over?" She replied.

In my earlier years after I debuted as an actress, I worked with Yoon Eun Hye in the drama "Princess Hours" – we kept in touch with each other after the filming series had ended and till this day we have grown to be best friends. She's my lovely yeuh-dong-seng; who is naturally cute but as years pass by, maturity gave her that sexy charm. But because of the workload and the busy lifestyle as actresses: we hardly spent time with each other and I was so grateful to see her once again.
