{ Avery's POV }

Today is the day Mr. Adams' class goes to the forest. I honestly have no idea how I plan to survive with Austin. All of my items are packed since we were told we have to bring clothes and any other necessary belongings along with us.

Mr. Adams decided to inform us that if anyone one in the class decides to bring their cell phones, to make sure that they are completely charged since there will be no outlets in the forest. Common sense though, right?

Everything I decided I would bring is in the back seat of Austin's red Range Rover. As much as I hate being in the same room as him, imagine living with him for two days, and having to take a ride from him.

He finishes putting his items in the back seat too, and finally walks around to the driver's side of the car. We both ended up agreeing on that he could meet up at my house and from there we would head out.

I open the passenger side door, and slide into the leather seat of Austin's fancy shmancy SUV. My phone lies in my lap, before sending one final text message to Brooke.

After about 15 minutes on the road, Austin breaks the silence by turning on the radio. If only he would've done that 5 minutes into the ride; I couldn't take the silence anymore.

"So, living together for two days, eh?" He speaks.

"Yeah, I'm not happy about it either, so make one wrong move, and I will feed you to a bear."

"How do you know there's bears in this forest?" He smirks at me.

"There's bears in all forests, dumbass."

"Well," He gasps in aw. "Someone's sassy on this fine morning."

I shoot him daggers as we aproach a sign telling us about ten more miles to go. I let out a deep sigh, and rest my head against the window. My stomach rumbles pretty loudly, and I hope he didn't hear.

"Err.. Are you hungry?"

I groan. " No, my stomach just likes to make dying whale noises when I'm full."

He smirks, "Ahh, so that's it, eh? You're a bit different from most girls then."

"Can we just get something to eat?" He looks at me like I should be in the Guinness Book of World Records for the fatest person ever.

" Hah, sure. I'm getting hungry myself." We both saw a sign that told us there was an upcoming McDonalds about five miles away.

Finally, we pulled into a McDonals with a short drive-thru line. Austin orderd a McChicken Wrap and I ordered a McChicken. He parked in an empty parking space so we could eat our food before heading back out.

After we finished the food, we pulled back out onto the busy road. It's been about twenty minutes and it doesn't look like the same route we were on earlier...

"Austin, do you know where we're going..?"

"Of course, sweetheart."

I cringe at him calling me that. About another thirty minutes later, I swear I saw a tumbleweed pass by when we were at a stop sign..

He looks at me, and I look back at him.

"Avery.." He starts.

"Yeah?"

"We're lost."
