After you were officially introduced by your father, who acted very strange, which made the situation a little awkward, you walked up to your old room and stowed the luggage you had brought with you in there. When you decided to visit your dad, you wanted to stay for a while. You hadn't seen him in almost half a year.
While you were busy putting your stuff away and finishing something for work- before you could enjoy the time with your dad, which turned out to be time spent with the Winchesters as well-, the guys and your dad returned to doing their research.
So when you were done, you walked back downstairs into the kitchen, where only Sam was sitting now. You could see Bobby being in the other room, the living room slash his office. Dean was nowhere to be seen.
"Hey Sam, where's Dean?"
"I think he went outside fixing something on the Impala."
You nodded and made a quick decision. You walked to the fridge, opened it and grabbed two beer. As you headed towards the door, you yelled back over your shoulder to Sam and your father.
"I'm gonna go, take out a beer to Dean."
Since you were already facing the door again, you didn't see Bobby's head snapping up, his eyes widening and him freezing for a second, taking in your words and thinking about what he did next.
He jumped up from his chair screaming "Wait!" and walking over to where you stopped as soon as you heard his voice. For a short moment you were scared, not knowing what was going on. This was out of character for him.
When he reacehd you, he reached for the beers in your hand, walking past you.
"I'm gonna take it outside, you can stay here", he mumbled his explanation.
Before you could ask him any questions regarding his strange behavior, he was already out of the door. You just stood there dumbfounded.
After looking at where your dad had disappeared outside, you shook your head and went back into the kitchen, grabbing another beer from the fridge before you sat down at the table opposite Sam. He looked up as you did so, but moved his head back down only a moment later.
The two of you sat in silence for a while, Sam lost in the book he was currently reading and you occupied by your thoughts, trying to figure out what had just happened. Then you spoke up.
"Do you have any idea what the hell that was? I mean, why would he stop with research just to bring Dean a beer?"
You looked at same waiting for an answer. At first he didn't realize that you were actually talking to him but when you didn't continue talking, he only shrugged.
"I don't know. He's your dad."
A shy smile accompanied his words. Then he returned to reading.
You heaved a deep sigh and leaned over the table in order to get a better look at the book in front of Sam.
"What is it you're hunting anyway?"
This time without taking his eyes off of the book, he answered you.
"We're not sure. The only lead we have is that wahtever it is, it's taking virgins. We don't know where it takes them or what it's doing with them. No bodies have been found yet either. Basically we have nothing."
Now it was his turn to let out a deep sigh. You furrowed your eyebrows in concentration, thinking hard, trying to remember anything you might've read considering the case. Getting up from your chair you walked into the other room towards the bookshelf, that was overflowing with books about monsters and rituals.
