You couldn't believe it. This was a mistake, wasn't it? That couldn't be true. You and Dean had been careful. The thoughts spun around in your head, disbelieve the strongest emotion in this exact moment.
You stared down at the stick laying on the basin in front of you. Your mouth was slightly opened forming a perfect O, as your head kept spinning and you eyes wide open. It almost seemed as if the little plus was shining, letting everything else fade into the background as it took up all your vision.
There was a knock on the door followed by a voice that made you jump as you got pulled back to where you were.
"(Y/N), you okay?"
You were still not quite in the here and now, so you didn't notice the concern in Dean's voice.
"Yeah, I'm- I'm fine... I'll be out in a minute," you replied taking a last glance at the pregnancy test before grabbing it and shoving it in your pocket, so Dean wouldn't find it by accident.
You looked at your self in the mirror and only now realized that you had tears in your eyes. You wiped at them impatiently. When you felt mostly pulled together again, you took one last deep breath and unlocked the bathroom door.
Dean was in the living room, playing with Henry on the floor, laughing histerically. You stopped in the doorway to watch them for a while. Your one year old was running toward his dad, who caught him laying him on the floor before attacking him with tickles. Henry would throw his limps around until he scooted away, got up from the floor and ran to the other side of the room, just to start the circle again. The happiness on their faces was undeniable. It made your heart swell, the delight overflowing. You couldn't hide a smile that was illuminating your entire face and you couldn't stop the thought from another child thrown into the mix.
You could already picture it. Henry and Dean play-fighting, while a baby was protected on your husband's lap, cooing and enjoying the crazyness, the togetherness of it all. The perfect family. The smile on your lips grew even bigger.
Dean turned his head, sensing you near. When he saw the look on your face, his lightened up as well.
"Hey, beautiful," he winked at you, something you were always unable to react to.
Suddenly you saw Henry running towards his father again, while he still stared at you. For a second you thought you son was going to get hurt, but before you could even let out a shriek of fear, Dean grabbed his son by the waist and pulled him on his lap. Henry was laughing just as hard as before. Dean leaned down to whisper in the boy's ear.
"Hey, why don't you attack mommy now that she joined us?"
Henry's head shot up and looked around the room until his eyes settled on you. As soon as he spotted you, you could see the glint of mischieve in his eyes. A second later he jumped up from his dad's lap and ran towards you in full speed. You kneeled down in order to pretend to be hit so hard you'd fall on your back when he ran into your arms. A scream of defeat on your side was, of course, mandatory. You heard Dean laughing as you were laying on the floor, your giggling only-child on top of you. Neither of them knew yet, that he wasn't going to be your only child for much longer.

It was time to go. You put the finishing touch to your make-up and took a last glance in the mirror. You were wearing your favorite fancy outfit for just this occasion. Two days after you found out that you were expecting your second child, you decided it was time to tell Dean. Excitement was running through your veins, you felt like you were sparkling of electricity.
You took in a deep breath and exhaled aagin aftere holding it for a few seconds in order to calm your pulse. You didn't want to give anything away just yet. As you opened the bedroom door you could hear whimpering coming from the living room. When you came closer, you could make out voices.
