My Rogue

Chapter 24

/Alex/
Last night Mason and I talked all night about everything: our past, our present and our future. Its been awhile since we took the time to talk about our lives. But unto reality the war we are facing today, this war will change out lives forever.

I look out the window towards the woods thinking about how in a couple of hours the woods would be full of blood and dead bodies. Arms wrap around me feeling the sparks letting me know its Mason. "Mason, tell me everything will turn out alright." I tell him trying to calm my nerves. "I can only tell you that I love you and that you'll have my heart." When he said that it made me realize that I could lose people that I love. We stay there standing by the window in each others arms.

/Mason/
"Alpha, they have crossed into our territory." My Beta, Jake informs me. "Attack" I say and through the pack-link I say "Attention everyone the war has begun, women and children are to be in the safe house until that war ends."

I look down at Alex and say "The war has began."

/Alex/
One minute I'm in Masons arms and then I'm in the woods surrounded by wolves fighting, blood everywhere. I look around for someone I know, someone I can help when I hear a yelp. I turn around to see a wolf on top of Andi's wolf, without thinking I ran as fast as I could in my wolf form to her. Jumping before getting to them, I grab the wolf with my teeth getting him off Andi making us go crashing to the floor. I let go of the wolf and look at Andi to make sure she's alright. I hear the wolf get up so I look back at him and get ready to fight him when I hear a powerful roar to my right. I look to my right to find a big wolf with an aura of an Alpha and I realize that it's not Mason, but Alpha Robert.

To have Alpha Robert in front of me brings me some memories and a lot of rage. The pain that all this mess has caused me and my family is enough to make me want to just kill him and everybody that is in my way of happiness, but I know that is not the way to end all of this.

"The famous rogue, Alex. How in world did you end up in the middle of this -oh wait- I know Miss Mother Nature always wants to protect everybody, you know something Alex you can't protect everybody." Alpha Robert teases me trying to make me charge at him. I look straight at him and redpond "You done? I really don't care what you think about me. Just think on your last words." He gets mad when I say that and lungs at me.

Shocked at his reaction I don't move on time and get pushed down unto the floor trapped by Alpha Robert's wolf. I struggle yo get free, but no luck when for a minute he leaves his neck open I bite his neck making him jump away from me. I get up quickly ignoring the paid from the injuries he has left on me and get ready to attack. When I lunge at him he lunges at me the same time, we try to bite anywhere of the other trying to get an advantage over the fight. We stay like that fighting for dominance over the fight when he traps me again under him. I try to fight but he slashes his claws over my snout, leaving a mark. I loom for a way out to see that every two swipes his claws makes, he leaves his neck open; waiting patiently for the two swipes I lunge for his neck not letting go.

He tries to shake me off, but I just hold on tighter. He slowly starts to stop trying to shake e off and starts to give up. I take the chance and grab tighter unto his neck and wait until he stops fighting and then stop breathing. I shake him a bit making sure he's dead before letting go of his neck.

Looking around I notice I have a crowd, the war is over. O change back to human form forgetting my nakedness and I say out loud. " Now with Alpha Robert's death may this be a warning, Alpha females will rise and they will rule those who are against it will have to deal with me."

When I finish I feel relaxed after all these years its over a new chapter will start tomorrow, for today was just something of the past.

Mask. Comes running to me, when he reaches me he lifts me up and twirls me around, I laugh at his happiness. When he puts me down he crashes his lips to mine, between kisses 'I Love You's ' are heard from both of us. We separate to look at each with nothing but love in our eyes.
"Mason, I have one more secret left." I say. He looks down at me and frowns and says " Alex, I thought we said no more secrets how can-" "I'm pregnant" I inturrupt him before he ruins the moment. At first he's shock, but then he smiles and says "I don't like secrets, but I like that you told me this one, this one is my favorite one." Wrapped in each others arms we wait for what's to come tomorrow.
