Kelley stared at her phone for a long time, not knowing what to do. Christen looked at her wife curiously, noticing her confused expression.

"Everything alright, babe?" she asked, concerned.
Sighing, Kelley looked up from her iPhone.

"Sarah knows about Tobin," she replied, running her hands through her brown hair.

"Really? Lex told her?" Christen asked, surprised.

Kel shook her head. "No, Sarah found pictures, and I'm guessing she saw the interview... Now she wants answers," she sighed, fiddling with her phone case.

Her wife moved to sit on the couch next to Emily and her. "And I'm guessing Lex isn't wanting to tell her?"

"I don't know... She hasn't mentioned anything to me," Kelley answered, eyes on the TV, where her friend continued to show on the screen. "Now Sarah's texting me, and I don't know what to tell her."

"Do you think she should know about Tobin and Alex?" Christen asked, putting an arm around her wife.

Kel bit her lip, looking conflicted. "It couldn't hurt... but maybe Lex doesn't want Sarah to know..." she murmured, leaning into Christen's arm. "What do you think?"

"I think she should..." Christen replied, trailing off.

Sighing, Kelley said, "I'll bring it up with Alex tomorrow.. get her opinion. I don't think she knows about Sarah asking me about Tobin." She sent a reply to Sarah:
K: I'll think about it kiddo, ok?

"What did Aunt KO say?" Kylie asked, watching her friend pace back and forth in front of her as she lounged on the couch. The blond had her feet up on the coffee table as she popped a chip into her mouth.

Sighing, Sarah replied, "She'll think about it." She plopped onto the couch next to her best friend, looking at the TV, where pictures of Tobin Heath flashed on the screen.

"Hey, at least it wasn't a no. And now you know her name," KK remarked, gesturing at the TV. "Wow, Tobin Heath might've dated your mom... that's so cool!"

Sarah rolled her eyes, slapping her friend softly. "What do you know about her?"
The defender thought carefully.

"Uhhhh, sometimes my moms talk about her. Apparently she's played for Portland before, then moved to France to play for PSG. She's been called up to the senior National Team since she was like, in college. Four time gold medal winner," Kylie replied.

"My moms call her the Queen of Nutmegs. Hey, she's like you!"

"Has she ever visited?" Sarah asked.
Shaking her head, Kylie answered, "No, I don't think so. If she has, I wasn't there to see her. Sometimes I hear my moms talk to on the phone."

Sarah crossed her arms, looking in deep thought. "I need to meet her," she decided.

KK's eyes widened. "Wha?" she asked, gaping.

"I need to meet her," Sarah repeated, as Tobin's image disappeared from the screen. She turned off the TV and turned to her friend. "I want to know what happened, why they're not together."

Kylie bit her lip. "Sarah... maybe your mom doesn't want you to know?" she asked quietly.Sarah opened her mouth to say something, but was interrupted by the sound of the front door opening.
"Girls, I'm back!" Alex's voice sounded.

Later, Alex sat in bed with her laptop, finishing some work. The TV played quietly as she worked, playing on SportsCenter.

A Skype notification appeared in the corner of her laptop.

Kelley : Hey, let's Skype chica
