I felt the gurney being lifted out of the ambulance car. I didn't open my eyes. I heard Mama crying. I heard the doctors discussing my state. I saw another memory.

"What?" I asked. "I want to go to California," Riker repeated. We were all in the living room. Riker called all of us in because he said he needed to announce something. "But why?" Ross asked, "Colorado's our home." "I want to pursue music and acting," he replied with eyes both pleading and determined. "I don't know, Riker," Mama said, "We can't just drop everything to go to Hollywood." "Then you don't need to come. I'll go by myself," Riker argued. "No, that's crazy. You can't just go almost halfway across America without us, Riker," Rydel reasoned. "Riker, we're going to talk this over. Kids, out," Daddy said. We all left the room and went our separate ways. I followed Riker into the kitchen.

"Why do you want to move?" I asked while he sat down. "Reignbow, I want to follow my dream. I want to do this," he replied. "Don't you have any other dreams?" I asked. "Like what?" he said. "Like, just living a normal life. Get married have kids. Why not take the slow life? Being famous can get to your head and it's a lot of responsibility and pressure. Especially when you have so many people looking up to you. " I replied. "You're right, Rei, there is a lot of responsibility when it comes to being famous. But I think I can handle it. Don't you?"Riker asked. "Of course I do, but I don't want you to be so far away. And we'll all miss you." I said, tearing up.

Riker pulled me into a hug. "You know I'll miss you too, Reignbow-Cakes," he said, with sympathy in his voice. "Please don't leave," I said, choking on tears, "I know this is your dream and all, but I don't want to see you go."

"Guys, Mom and Dad want us back in the living room," Ross said. As we made our way to the living room, I can't help but wish Mama and Daddy won't let Riker go to California. Most of me wanted Riker to go and follow his dream, but it's hard to think of being without him. It's as if our family's broken apart.

We all sat down and waited for Mama and Daddy's decision.

"We're all going to Hollywood!"
