You were walking around the pumpkin patch, holding your little brother's hand as he tugged you in 90 different directions, trying to find the biggest and best pumpkin. You were tugged by your brother to the best pumpkin you had seen yet. "Hey, I like that one." You said with a smile, beaming down at Y/B/N. He nodded his little head, his hat falling in his eyes. "I like it, too!" The 6 year old practically screamed as he shoved the beanie back up his head and out of his eyes. You shook your head, giggling when he wrapped his arms around the pumpkin, trying to pick it up when someone ran into you.
The very shocked brunette looked at you with red cheeks that were probably half from the cold and half from embarrassment. "I'm sorry." He mumbled and turned around, his hoodie covered back facing you before he whipped around, eyes wide. "I need you to pretend we're dating..." He blurted out, a hopeful look on his face as his eyebrows rose. "I'm sorry. Will you please pretend we're dating?" He corrected himself from being so short and rude with his statement.
"You...what?" You asked, looking at the brunette and also at your brother, making sure he wasn't squished under some pumpkin. He wasn't, he was sitting calmly on top of his pumpkin just looking up at you. The shock of the statement had left you wide eyed with your jaw slacked open. "I'm with my friend and I told him my girlfriend was meeting me here but I don't have a girlfriend. Please." He begged and you sighed. The wide eyed look he was giving you was more than enough to make you say yes. You nodded your head and he beamed at you.
He grabbed your hand and pulled you tight to him as a blond with an eyebrow piercing jogged up to the two of you. "Calum!" The boy shouted, making you jump slightly. Calum, the name fit him. "This is her?" He asked, gesturing to you. Calum nodded and grinned at him before looking at you and lightly leaning his head against yours before standing straight against him. "Yes, Michael. This is my girlfriend, Y/N." He pressed a kiss to your forehead that made you blush.
Michael nodded and he grinned at you. Calum bent down, while holding your hand and managed to pick up Y/B/N while he was still sitting on the pumpkin he picked out. "We're gunna go pay for this pumpkin and go carve it, right babe?" The brown eyed boy asked. You stood there awestruck for a minute before you nodded and beamed. "Y/B/N has been begging to carve pumpkins with Cal for the longest time." You told Michael happily before saying your goodbyes.
You, Calum, and your little brother made your way to the cash register of the farm you were at. You reached over and lifted your brother off the pumpkin and held him in your arms as the tall boy put the pumpkin on the counter. He pulled out his wallet and your eyes widened. "No, no, no!" You scrambled, shaking your free hand in his face. He giggled and shook his head. "I want to buy this for you because you let me pretend you were my girlfriend." He handed the cashier a $10 from his wallet before turning and smiling at you. He tucked the pumpkin under his arm and you both started walking towards the parking lot. The walk from the barn to the parking lot took longer than expected, with Y/B/N stopping to look at more pumpkins and jump off of hay bails. The brunette was pretty good with your little brother, joking around with him and making him smile by giving him a piggy back ride. You managed to learn a pretty good amount about him in that time. He was a really nice guy and had a really good taste in music, clothes, and movies.
Once your brother and the pumpkin were in the car Calum grabbed your hand, smiling at you. "Thank you, again. I've been getting so much shit from him about not having a girlfriend." He blushed and chuckled, pulling on the strings if his maroon hoodie. You bit your lower lip and grinned at him. "Then how about we go on a proper date and see where things go from there?" The brunette's eyes lit up and you chuckled when he blushed even deeper than before. "Sounds good." He mumbled and you two exchanged numbers before you climbed into your car, not even thinking about the pumpkin you had to go carve. Instead, your mind was locked on the brunette with the gorgeous brown eyes that was taking you out on Tuesday at 7.
